Ian’s Pizza Madison | Garver Feed Mill

Today was one more day of us walking out to Garver empty handed. As usual, when ordering the specialty pizza, we got the typical, we are out of ingredients to make another pie. This is happening on day 4 of their specialty pizza listing, on a Sunday at 2pm. At this rate, this isn't an accident anymore, it is a clear inaptitude to manage. The downtown location on State street had all needed ingredients to have a whole pie on a very busy day. What is wrong with the Garver location, why are they so out of their depth?

I absolutely love their salads and pizzas. I also love the fact of their location. I can literally walk over and enjoy my food.

Ian’s pizza catering:
We were really looking forward to working with Ian’s and were happy with the food quality and communication leading up to our wedding. However, on the day of our event, the staff working had told guests they can “take as much pizza as they want” which resulted in multiple guests not getting an adequate amount food and ultimately running out of pizza. Ians’s staff were the ones handing out slices of pizza to guests, so it was Ian’s responsibility to serve our guests the appropriate portion so that no guests would be over or under served. In addition, we had a number of guests not show up so ultimately we should have had extra food leftover and should have never run out.

After the event, we reached out to discuss what happened, but the response was disappointing — there was no real effort to acknowledge or make things right. Mistakes can happen, but how a company handles them makes all the difference. Sadly, this experience left us feeling let down and I can’t recommend them for catering based on this.

We had Ian's Pizza Cater our wedding. This is the location we got to have one of our favorite planning memories. Food Tasting, what really made it an incredible experience is Staci, the Account Manager, who took the time to get to know us, explain all the different recipes, how they work with allergies, and even took notes on everything we were saying during the tasting. She stayed flexible and understanding while working with us to have our favorite food on our big day! The Garver Feed Mill is also a beautiful building that helps any visit there feel special.

The pizza is pretty good but other than that not the best place to go when its busy. Very load, crowded, and kind of a preppy atmosphere that I dont vibe with. Overpriced and had my order forgotten about.

I come here often to get a quick lunch. You really can’t beat the price of a slice of pizza here and it’s so beautiful in Garver there.

The only thing is that service can be weird here. A couple weeks ago this nice guy in front of me went to point at the slice of pizza he wanted and the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed and just went ‘please don’t reach your hand over the glass’. Like, I’m sure it’s annoying but why make it a big deal after the fact and be condescending about it? The man got pissed and just walked away lol. The guy with the mask who works there just doesn’t seem very accommodating most of the time. Honestly everyone else is generally friendly.

I was able to order delivery in the american parkway neighborhood, but now delivery is no longer available for my area. I will definitely be ordering less due to this inconvenience. It would be nice for Ian's to open a Sun Prairie location..

The manchurian gobi pizza special was awfully good. Probably one of the most memorable slices I’ve had all year.

I ordered a whole bunch of pizza's for a party I was throwing last weekend and everything was fantastic. The online ordering was slick, the time estimates and updates were exact, the driver called ahead to ask if I needed plates/napkins/utensils which was a really nice touch, and he delivered the pizza's right on time. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the bags of puppy chow :). Great place to order from if you are having a lot of hungry people over. Thanks, Ian's team!
