Definitely not the experience we were hoping for this morning on the hunt for breakfast.TL;DR choose another breakfast place. Now, for a bit more detail......When we entered the restaurant, we got in line at the host station behind a single fellow and a party of two. This was the last bit of normal associated with this visit. From here, we stood in line waiting for the host to come up, greet everyone and get us seated. Not abnormal at all.....except nobody showed up. At all. Not a single server, who were all wearing red shirts, looked over at any of us in line, and a fellow wearing a gray shirt kept going in and out of the kitchen, with zero acknowledgement of the line, while it continued to build. Truly, it was almost disconcerting, how odd it was. BUT, we continued to wait because it was reasonably busy and we were hungry. We waited in line at the host station for at least 16 minutes before being acknowledged at all. It was longer than this, but because I was only casually keeping track of the time prior to this purposeful time keeping, I don't know that specific length of time. After being greeted by the man in the gray shirt, our party was seated at the same time as the single and double party in front of us. No worries, we're hungry and now it's down to business, right? Not so fast.We were looking at our menus, and contemplating our breakfast choices. We all figured out pretty quickly what we were going to have. We just needed a server to swing by to take our order. We waited. And waited. And waited some more. And even though it was getting more busy, there was zero emphasis by the service staff on getting to people timely. The best way I can describe it is this: the entire service team were unfazed by the folks patiently waiting and were on a stroll. So weird. After waiting for longer than 15 minutes with no water, zero server interaction and ample time to review other breakfast options, we left. What a strange, strange experience. However, the good that came of this is that we went to Ogden's North Street Diner, that place was AMAZING!
Fresh food freindly waitress clean table ?
Had a good breakfast and coffee.
Very short-handed staff. Our server was fantastic. I think she had to cover almost 1/2 of the tables. She was friendly, quick and awesome! The food was just right.
Awful. We went in and there were no customers, which should have told us something. My omlette was barely warm. I left most of it as it was not the usual fluffy omlette that most I Hops sell. The others' food was on a par with mine. They closed 2 hours earlier than the sign on the door, so we got the bum's rush out. Whenever we passed it, the parking lot was empty. Go on by, find somewhere else!
Went this morning to get breakfast. I recommended this location because their servers are nice. However, we were sat. A Hispanic worker came up to us and looked as if he was going to take our order and then said someone was going to be with us shortly. The people next to us said they had been waiting 30 minutes and decided to leave but we waited. A group walked in 15 minutes after the Hispanic man came to us to let us know and THEY were served right away. No one came to check on us, other tables that arrived after us had servers, greetings, and drinks to start. Bad rotation and turning over of customers.
I usually really like coming here, however I ordered a mushroom, tomato and cheese omelet and the mushrooms were burned or fried with a burger. The english muffin seemed old, very tough. My friend got a very tiny piece of ham and an old muffin. Server was very nice. I did tell him about it but I didnt want to make a fuss today. Not sure if I would return. Not busy. Maybe 6 customers there. Restaurant was bright and clean.
Went there for my daughters 3rd birthday and within seconds noticed the menus had old soda on it, dirty floors, poor service. Ordered milkshakes and they were warm and half melted as if it was already made and sat there. 2 shakes was $15. If I could give 0 stars I would.
They are trying. But incorrectly entered orders and then ignored requests add up. Food was good what we got that was right.
Easy. Did an online pick up order, was ready in 10-15 minutes as they said. Clerk/Host forgot to bring out pancakes with our omelette orders, when I walked back in a moment later and mentioned it to the manager who happened to be staffing the host stand, he had our pancakes ready to go in less than a minute. Clearly just an oops that was remedied immediately and without any difficulty.Clean! In the middle of a pandemic and a shortage of workers, this chain restaurant kept itself clean and tidy (including restroom).

Good food. Great service.
The service was excellent !! As was the steak and eggs. The pancakes I believe are ready made mix?? Was a bit too salty for my taste. All in all very good
Oh my goodness.... this was the BEST experience we have ever had in any IHOP! The manager was amazing. We had brought my dad, who had mentioned that he hadn't had blueberry syrup since he went to Canada, so many years ago. The manager came out with an extra special gift of syrup for him. It was the most generous act that we have had in a very long time. Thank you so very much! You have made some life long customers!
The food was good! I went online and I ordered curbside pick up as that was an option. The email I received from my order says to pull up to one of the designated areas for curbside pick up and then call to let them know you were there. There was no designated area and the phone number wasn’t working. I had to physically go in and ask for my order which is fine but it defeats the purpose of curbside pickup.
WORST service, or rather lack of service, ever. Walking in there was no one at the host station, 2 people on the POS machines. One looked up and shouted across the room asked if we wanted a booth. Husband shouted back we wanted a table. She waved us to a table in back and left. No placemats, silverware, or menu provided. We both tried to use the QDR menu but no internet access, got a pop up that indicated it was disabled. We waited 8 minutes no one came by. As we left the girl at the host station gave attitude instead of an apology and said they were busy. Including us there were only 6 tables in use most were eating or waiting for their check. We usually go to the Middleton restaurant and receive outstanding service even on weekends. No excuse for the Hillside Shores restaurant and we will never be back.
