Brats were expensive and disappointing..... over 10 dollars for 6 brats that tasted like mushy unflavored johnsonvilles.. I miss Jims meats...... they were a dollar a piece and sooooo much better..!! I used to live near here.. I thought I liked the brats back then.. maybe they changed, maybe I just liked them back then.. not sure
Hands down.......NO other meat market comes close to the quality, variety, "2nd to none taste" of their products. SUPERB potato salad, fabulous 7 layer salad, thick and juicy steaks and chops. Alot of Jacobson's food was brought to many of our family annual picnics.

January 16, 2019: Good Bye And Farewell to Jacobson's. SO, "Another One Bites The Dust" ! Let's hope they make a comeback like Brennan's did . I guess I'll be eating "Dawn's Potato Salad" until then. Really sad. WAKE UP MADISON ! If you don't support these great local businesses, you will end up with the same kind of "Quality Choices" for fine foods as Cities like Rockford.
