Jade Monkey Cocktail Lounge

You should probably update your online hours if you are going to close before you say you will. For reference, the door sign said 1 AM. Online says midnight. But the door is locked by 11 PM on a Friday?

First time trying out Jade Monkey as it’s in our neighborhood and we left feeling iffy on the place. The night started out great. Service was a little slow but they were busy and the drinks aren’t exactly the simplest drinks so a little bit of wait isn’t unexpected. No big deal. We had a couple rounds of drinks which were all delicious. Our group enjoyed playing darts and shuffleboard and thought the overall vibes were fantastic. Loved the feel of the bar and decor. However, the issue we had was when they called out last call. Posted hours say they are open until 1 AM but last call was called at 11:00 PM. We felt that was a little early but fine, we’ll grab one more round. By 11:30 PM everyone in the bar was told to finish our drinks and pay our tabs. It just felt a little rude and rushed. Our group was prepared to stay until they closed but ended up having to vacate early and go somewhere else. If this hadn’t happened, this would’ve easily been a 5 star visit.

Very clean, cozy, comfortable lounge bar.

Staff is friendly, attentive and hard working.

Stopped in with my friend visiting from out of town, perfect place to kill an hour with a couple of drinks.

Nice if you are a local or just passing through.

They also have a pool table, video games (real video games, not poker) and a streaming jukebox.

Update: We came on a Monday, super empty, but that's 100% not the issue. There is one new bartender that I've never seen before who was very rude. She had a Bass Pro Shops sweatshirt and hat on. She scoffed at everyone in my group for ordering mixed drinks off the menu like it was an inconvenience for her while there was no new customers. It took her at least 5 minutes and the drinks we got tasted nothing like what we ordered, yet she was looking at the drink instructions the whole time. Hated the attitude, still love this place. I will not be staying in here if I see her bartending again.

Just go for a whiskey on Wednesday with a buddy. It’s a very nice little stop off.

Mojitos were good. Oscar the bartender skipped my song. Took a dollar back from a tip. Here's 2 stars bud

Friendly bar, everyone is welcome here.

The drinks were not great. I finished mine, but my friend had a sidecar that did not look like a sidecar at all. It wasn’t even in the correct glass. She had a few sips and left her drink behind mostly full. The atmosphere of the place was really fun. I’d probably come again and try a few other drinks. Wouldn’t want to write it off after one experience.

I recently just visited Jade for first time. I was really impressed by the inside of the place. It has regular bar seats and table but they also have several cozy areas as well. Patio. I loved it.

Went here after work to meet a friend. As a sober person, the owner (ralph?) was very apparently wasted. He yelled that everyone “smelled like dookie and didn’t tip so it was last call”. It was 12:30. Just a really odd and unprofessional experience.

Always a positive experience

I really wanted to like this place. The bar atmosphere and drink selection was nice. However, the bartenders were not welcoming or friendly at all, which made our experience less enjoyable.
