WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing dinner!!

Absolutely wonderful food and service from Hailiana (probably misspelled, sorry!). She was attentive and available despite the restaurant being short staffed for the night and made sure we were taken care of all the way through. Everything we ate was 10/10 delicious.

Wow! The affrogato might be the most exciting thing I have ever eaten! The flavor combo was something I've never experienced before and it blew my mind. Fantastic restaurant, we'll definitely be coming back the next time we visit Madison.

Amazing, thoughtful food! The attention to detail and care that went into every dish was clear and much-appreciated. Our 4-top shared four appetizers +dessert, and everyone ordered a main. Everything was seriously delicious, including the craft cocktails. I'm vegan (dining companions are not), and it was wonderful to be able to order anything on the menu and share several unique apps for the table. I'd love to come back when the courtyard dining space opens again in spring. There is also a coffee shop and fun little "secret" bar in the Robinia space. Highly recommended!!Vegetarian options: Menu is completely plant-based.Dietary restrictions: Menu is completely plant-based.Parking: Since the Sylvee is right around the corner, there is a parking garage and some ground parking available nearby. It may be a bit congested during a show.

Stayed in Madison for a week for work and Jardin was undoubtedly the standout restaurant even against some way more expensive establishments in the area.Sichuan peppercorn crusted tofu and lobster casarecce - delicious! Inventive combinations of flavor profiles, textures and ingredients. You know the feeling when something is so tasty you just make “mmm, mmm, mmm” sounds? Yep, that’s this.Service was just ok, nothing too special (so one less star in the rating there) but for the food here, I wouldn’t care if a robot served me and had no programmed social skills.I will be making it a point to come here every visit.Vegetarian options: All of it!!

Madison has several excellent vegan restaurants, but this one was the best of the lot for me. Fantastic food managing to make mushrooms into startlingly good meat approximations. (I know many vegan places claim this, but most such claims are laughable. This place really delivers!) Excellent flavors, presentations, and personable service. A little on the pricey side, but well worth trying or for a special occasion!Vegetarian options: Fully vegan menu.

We ordered the quesabirria for a starter which was amazing. For main courses we got lobster casarecce and the blackened tofu. The lobster casarecce was -to die for-, i have never had mushrooms like that in my 10 years of eating veggie. The blackened tofu was not enjoyable for either of us and we didn't eat it. Too many bitter flavors at once for us. Dessert was the cookie with banana nice cream & huckleberries which was also to die for. Drinks & service were amazing. Still giving 5 stars despite the blackened tofu, because it's truly just exquisite dining.
