Java Cat Coffee ranks as one of my favorite places for a breakfast or lunch in a comfortable setting with a delicious meal and a great cup of coffee. The service is friendly and informative, and the selection is wide enough to satisfy any hunger need. Don't skip the Carmel lattes or the almond joy gelato. A definite treat.

Java Cat is the coolest spot in Madison in my opinion. I can always count on it for a calm place to do work, or catch up with a friend. The food is great, the atmosphere is friendly, and the workers are kind and awesome. The space is so clean, other shops are sometimes overworked and corners are cut, but here, you can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows. Freakin' ten stars if I could. Keep it up Java Cat!

The coffee house was really nothing special. Maybe a dozen syrups to pick from. I ordered the blueberry crumble latte. What made it blueberry crumble? I have no idea. It tasted like your average coffee that you could make at home. It was surprising how busy it was considering how mediocre this coffee house is. Too bad, considering the location was pretty neat with lots of outdoor seating.

We didn't order food just a coffee. The service wasn't note worthy other than it wasn't horrible. The atmosphere was quiet. Lots of open tables. We went in for our first time hoping for noteworthy iced coffee. I looked at the menu and noticed very common flavors, nothing new or exciting. I passed on the coffee here today. My husband however ordered the only flavor that wasn't ordinary. Blueberry crumble. It doesn't have even a hint of blueberry let alone crumble. What does the crumble even taste like? We'll never know. Sadly, java cat doesn't make our let's go back again list.

What a coffee house should be!! Absolutely great friendly service a beautiful inviting decor and so many beautiful flowers and plants. Also a dog area out front. Plus the coffee was A++ I would highly recommend.
Besides the beauty of mixing Gelato with espresso (order the Javalatto people), my favorite thing is the environment.
I love seeing the long term staff, and the owner, who I've seen throughout my time as a customer. Most of all, I love that they ALWAYS make me happier, especially on days I'm having those rough mornings. I really try to go in on those days I know are gonna be long. Between my delicious caffeine boost, and their warm welcomes, they always start my morning off better.
