Great option when in the food court. We stop here for lunch randomly for a quick bite since the mall food court gives everyone options. I never very as this is my favorite spot. Tried the spicy bourbon chicken and it was awesome!

Honestly the best for its quantity and price in all of Madison for Asian cuisine. Staff gets the job done fast and without mistakes

We used to love Kato's at the east towne mall in Madison, Wi, have not been there since before covid though. We finally stopped to eat at Kato's last night, pure garbage now. The food was tasteless (bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, Tsaos chicken, rice and noodle). Half of the sesame chicken was just breading, no chicken inside. The egg rolls, I spit mine out it tasted so bad. I guess it had taste at least. If this is what we should expect, please go out of business and don't steal anymore of our money.

I was pleasantly surprised with the entrees from Kato's. Normally mall asian cuisine is pretty lackluster, but this place was very fresh and flavorful - not to mention that they serve up ENORMOUS portion sizes for the money, at $8 for three entrees including fried rice or noodle. On top of all of it, the ladies were extremely friendly with us and with trying to get our daughter to smile and wave. They also offer up free generous samples of anything you would like to try before purchasing.

This place has fed me more than my own mother has over this last year of quarantine!Their signature chicken is perfectly crisp, and they have the most tasty mixed vegetables.

No idea why they call this place Cajun. Every dish on the menu is Chinese. Even the workers are Chinese.
