Went at a very crowded Saturday where the place was too full to get crepes. Got a quiche and a tart. The quiche was fine, though not stand out. The tart was tasty, but a bit more difficult to bite into than I'd like. Prices are good and good seemed fine, but a bit hit or miss for me.

We ordered a salmon tartine and there was a bone in it. Rating: 3
I tried to order a ham and cheese crepe, and they told me they don't make crepes until after 9 am (if they open at 7 am, why don't they sell the entire menu from that time?). Anyway.
So I tried ordering a ham and cheese sandwich, and in the end the lady didn't understand or didn't want to sell it to me, and I left with only the tartine.
P.S.: Please note that the price on the website is different from the price in person.

This place has the most incredible french pasterie that you can find in the state, and it is consistently such! Tuly a gem, this is a must stop whenever I am in Madison/Middleton area. My vehicle now smells like fresh bread, and I cannot get enough! The sourdough Batard is simply the best!

What a nice little vacation in the midst of Madison. The Tartines are excellent. The baked goods are scrumptious. The salads are fresh with a delicious vinaigrette. Their black coffee impressed my wife!!
We found a new favorite place in Madison.

Don't go there—poor service and nothing left to sell at 1 p.m.

DO NOT come here with kids. They don’t allow any outside food, even for BABIES! Should mention this before one orders to eat inside.
Had to take food to go, and it wasn’t even good!

I tried to give this place a second chance. The food was so okay. The service was bad. The people are rude and snooty. Xmas decorations were cute if you’re into that.

Nice coffee, but their croissant was just so so… it would’ve been better if it was more layered inside, a little more crunchy on the outside, and have a more buttery flavor.
The chocolatine was good though!

A very nice surprise! I happened to see this store when I was turning on a road. Figured I needed to check it out. Wondered how authentic it would be, and when I walked in I saw all the signs in handwritten French. And then I heard the staff speaking French to each other. That was quite promising! Bought various tartes, and I'll be back for other things. The citron one was one of the best I've had anywhere in the world, and brought me right back to being in France. Absolutely fantastic!

I ate here for the first time today and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. This is one of the best bakeries I've ever eaten at.
