Calamari po boy was lacking in sauce, bread was good. Fried calamari was tender and plentiful in the sandwich. Big portion of fries.Ordered the Manhattan chowder bowl and only had two small pieces of fish and no other seafood. Flavor of the tomato based soup, seasoning and seafood was pleasant. Plenty of veggies in the soup.Friendly lady at the register. No tap to pay. Will have to try fishboil or fish fry next time.

Fantastic food and exemplary service from Jeremiah! Came to town for a show and checked out this restaurant. It is beautiful and clean. Would strongly recommend. Had the oysters, mussels, onion rings, and hush puppies.

Meh.... I understand that Covid is still a factor in staffing, so I am reluctant to bury them. But this is my experience.Shrimp Po Boy had way to much sauce on it and the flavor didn't compliment the shrimp. The cod sandwich was greasy and bland. Tartar sauce in packets?? Long wait for take-out and the three times I have been there it was not busy at all. If they ever got busy it seems it would be a hot mess.Seafood in the Midwest is tough to pull off. I wish them luck.

Has great food...when it's open. Always call first because they close on a whim and don't post it on their website or Google. I have a love/hate relationship with this place because they aren't very customer focused. Also they put this cayenne msg type salt blend on their fries, so if you're intolerant ask for them plain.

Great quality seafood. The fried calamari is the best we've had, and we're a bit foodie-like with our food reviews. The hush puppies were quite good, but this Southerner needs a bit more onions. Sweet open spacing with the tables. We'll be back!

Lake Edge Seafood is such a great addition to the east side! Their lobster roll is the closest I've gotten to the ones you can find in New England. Absolutely delicious. Love the Salmon Salad BLT as well, along with the clam chowder. We haven't tried anything we've been disappointed with. Even the kid's fish fingers are the bomb!
Great food. Truly great seafood!! A rare find in Madison. Their prices are kind of high, I guess it goes with the quality and the rare ingredients they are able to source. I’ll keep coming back. It’s a bit of a treat to spend this much, but the food is worth it.

We LOVE the food here! One of the best fish fries in Madison, hands down! Tonight, we realized they turn off their phones when really busy. We went in to order with our toddler and our food wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes. I asked if they could give us the Mac and cheese for our daughter when it’s ready and then we’d come pick up the rest later while we fed her.… they ended up having our entire order ready to go in ten minutes — talk about great service! Such a friendly and thoughtful staff! We will be back again and again!
