Salad was very good and fresh. The black bean burger was good except for the bun (it was cold and not that good). It was a little pricey for what you get but it’s not bad for the city.

We were very impressed with the view & the food! They have vegan tacos & salad, plus, beer & fries with a house-made vegan chipotle sauce. Unfortunately, we missed live music by 5 minutes. It was only on from 5-6pm & it closes @ 7pm.

The view at Lake Vista Cafe is unmatched, while the food fell short. Not bad, yet nothing to write home about. I would say a highlight were the cheesecurds. The rooftop salad, I felt, was overdressed.

Cute patio cafe on the lake. Kind of upscale style pub food, not spectacular but plenty of options. It’s fun to eat on the lake is the main draw. Hold your drink so a sudden gust of wind doesn’t blow wine all over you, but end. If it dies at least you’re out in the sunshine. Very limited hours & closes at any hint of bad weather so enjoy while you can.
Vegetarian options: Mediterranean plate, black bean burger, pretty standard Madison vegetarian options.
Great view and tasty food. A bit overpriced, but I wasn’t surprised considering the location. Will visit again!

I was overcharged $5. Realized it when I got home. I bought the chicken bites for $7.5 and 1/2 pound fries for $3 and they charged me $16 for the 2 items. I never get the receipt, so have no idea what $5 overcharge is for. The chicken bites were not white meat. The fries were good.
