We had such an amazing meal and experience here! The staff, everyone from the moment we walked in until we left, was incredible. We had our sleepy toddler with us and they were still and really welcoming and family friendly. Our waitress was super helpful guiding us through the menu, and everything we ate was so delicious! The owner came by to chat with us and has such a beautiful story behind the restaurant, centered around a family feel. We absolutely loved it here, will definitely be back, and encourage everyone to try it!

Our server was wonderful and the chef/owner was exceptionally kind to us. Unfortunately were in Madison having our dog looked at in the ER vet and the server and owner showed compassion for our situation. In today's world you never know how someones day is going and kindness goes a long way. As for the food I highly recommend the chicken dish with the bone in. If there was an option for 10 stars we would give it 10 stars. We live over 90 minutes away and both my wife and I agreed we need to come back for a date night. If you get a choice in server Hanna is top notch and we highly recommend her.
Next lets talk cleanliness 5 stars plus here as everything exceeded expectations and the bathrooms were equally clean which is rare in a restaurant these days. Again weather your local, visiting, or just passing through this is a MUST stop. If the owner and the staff read this thank you so much for a wonderful meal.

Highly recommend a bar seat where you can see all the action in the kitchen. A bar seat bonus is that your bartender/server, Nina, is absolutely fantastic!

I came here for a birthday dinner and had such a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, the service attentive, and the atmosphere warm and cozy. The escargot was delicious, but the fresh baguette it came with stole the show, it was incredible. The espresso martini was good, though not particularly memorable, and the staff kindly surprised me with a slice of cake to celebrate my birthday. Overall, a lovely spot for a special night out.

First time here. Went with my niece. Sat at the bar for a 5:30 reservation. Hostess was prompt and smiling. Nina, our server at the bar was fantastic. Great knowledge of food, attentive service, friendly.
Nina gave us two complimentary gougere; lovely. Had six escargot w/melted compound butter and delicious baguette slices, from their bakery, next door. Had the golden beets/cheese/puff pastry. I'm NOT a beet person, but decided to live large: wasn't disappointed. There were four pieces, perfect sizing. Entrée was the duck for two, with a cherry/apple compote. Would never have known it was duck: was like a perfect medium rare prime rib. Tender and delicious. Got the duck fat potatoes to go with: perfect crust on a bowl of individual slices. Had the blackberry pepper crisp with buttermilk ice cream for dessert: also fantastic. I had two vodka/grapefruit cocktails. Niece had two glasses of wine, and an espresso martini. We were there for about two hours.
I am generally a hard sell for giving an overall high rating, but this establishment did not disappoint in any area. We had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in, until we left. Highly recommend.
Oh! And they give you a postcard with your bill, that you can write out and they mail it for you. Nice, final touch.

We had heard good things about Lallande and we were not disappointed. We ate at the bar which I would highly recommend. Our server was Nina and she made the evening fun. I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb chops. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. We also had the chicken pate which was so good. But the highlight for us was the carrot tarte. A must have, if you go.The owner Ann Marie was working in the kitchen keeping all the balls in the air, but she took time to visit with us and made us feel extra welcome.
Do yourself a favor and dine at Lallande on Monroe St. Perhaps we'll see you there because we'll be back! Five stars.
