Always sad when a long-time business closes. Not sure if the owners are simply ready to retire or if the business just isn't as sustainable nowadays with changing tastes of the younger generation. I wish them the best, a lot of customers will miss this bakery.

On my birthday March 17 , I had no one to celebrate with, so I went to lanes bakery after 33 yrs. As I had moved to Las vegas , it had been awhile since I got my dounts here. The owner heard me say it was my birthday so he gave me a dozen white chocolate cookies ! That made my day ! What a wonderful gift that was. Thank you so much for your kindness. Yours truly, kathleen pierce huseby.?

Disappointed on the lack of choices for an early Tuesday morning. No fritters, limited scone options, nothing savory. Would have liked to see more plain options. Nothing gluten free at the time. Plenty of seating. Staff were very friendly.

Some of the best food I remember as a kid, then growing up on it it’s hard to imagine it going. This gem needs to

Always a great place for a donut and coffee. :)

Blueberry danish great filling. Carrot cupcake very moist and not too sweet frosting. Both maybe best of type I ever had. Selection will be more limited later in the day.Pumpkin Kringle was really good. Only got to have a slice at the park but I’ll come in person and try out more stuff.Okay I bought one and it’s good but not as good. The cheese topping is awesome. The frosting is too heavily spiced. The filling gets lost in everything.Cream filling cronut was fine. But the filling was kind of bland and there was way too much of it to the point that there seemed to be not enough donut. I removed some cream and that improved it some.

Love it. I will be so sad when they close for good. I've been coming here for years.

Lane’s has wonderful fresh pastries and good coffee. The tables make for a nice place to meet with friends and enjoy a treat!

They have delicious kringle that tastes like a filled donut all wrapped in to one amazing pastry! They also have a variety of cakes and cookies with beautiful and fun designs. Right down the road from the hospital to brighten someone’s day! All with friendly and fast service!

Lane's is the best bakery in town for one reason - black and white cookies! Chewy and delicious, with clearly separate tastes to the black and white frosting. Brings me right back to childhood and my favorite local bakery treat!
