Today was the first time I have had West African food, and it won’t be the last time! This place is a gem in the Atwood neighborhood. It was delicious!!! I had sauteed goat and yuca fries as the appetizer. I don’t like yuca and normally won’t eat it, but it was so good. The aioli it came with complimented it perfect. Excited to try other meals here.

Popped in on my way to a show at the Barrymore and so happy I did. We were lucky to grab a table during a very busy time, so the slight wait was expected (and very worth it). We got the grilled lamb and poule braise plates with tamarind juice and left full and happy! This place is an absolute gem.

The food was really great. Also loved the ginger juice. They can get really busy so reservations may be a good idea, especially on a weekend night.

The artwork alone is worth the visit. Beautiful paintings and murals on the walls, combined with the furniture and other decor set a lovely backdrop to a wonderful meal. The food was so fresh and delicious. I got the yucca fries as a side with my dish, and would go back for those alone. The service was top-notch—friendly, and thoughtful. I can’t wait to return with friends and family!

Some of the best food in Madison. There are so many beautiful restaurants that are family owned in Madison and this joint is one of the best! Get that good food!

Wow what a gem! Everything was delightful. I got the grilled lamb and my partner got the vegan bowl. Every component was seasoned delightfully and well rounded. A heads up to other folks who may also be caught off guard, the lamb did have bones in- did not distract from flavor, still mostly tender. I enjoyed it all the same.
This was a very great African food restaurant, I love the hibiscus juice, and the aroma in the air is amazing. I would highly recommend dining in here. But save me a seat haha. The Jollof rice 👩🏽🍳💋 there are so many options I have to go back for more. Portions are great, everything great!
