It's fine as sports bars go. I've been here twice. The first time was positive, the second time not so much.First occasion my friend and I had a couple of beers each before a concert and no food. The server was super friendly and it's wasn't too busy.Second visit was super packed and I was the first of my group to arrive. I had to grab the first table I could find after a 15 minute wait since it's seat yourself. The server proceeded to put me down for taking a dirty table but it was all that was available. He never wiped it down though, so that was great. After I waited fifteen minutes, he started taking orders from a large group that had come in well after I sat down. They were super nice and told him to serve me first. The food was ice cold when we received it, tasted horrible and the server was generally not likable and apparently in a bad mood. Totally soured me on the place. Not sure if I'd go back based on this experience.

After coming here often for several years, I decided it’s about time to review! Some of my favorite wings, also their Cobb salad. Their baked cod is quite possibly the best I have ever had: never dry, Flavorful, a generous portion when often baked cod is unfulfilling. It can get loud, but with a sports bar that’s to be expected!

One of the best bars in Madison. Always a good atmosphere and great food. This bar is also a huge supporter of the Madison Fire Department and Madison Local 311 Firefighters. They always do a huge amount of charity and donations to various foundations. Definitely worth checking out!

Come here very often. Love the grilled chicken sandwich and Buffalo chicken wrap. Usually amazing service and very quick take out. Servers/bar tenders are generally very nice and personable.Tonight, employees were yelling at one another in front of customers. Never before have I seen this here. Food order was incorrect and there’s must have been half a bottle of Buffalo sauce on my wrap. Couldn’t eat the 2nd half.Generally a fantastic place to drink and grab some food. Tonight was a bit different.

I have not had tavern fries in 7 years. LJ's has a dedicated frier so their fries are gluten free. Likewise their burger came with a tasty gluten free bun. If you are truly celiac there is still risk of cross contamination, but I thought they did a pretty good job. The burger must have been larger than a third pound!

I’m currently sitting down waiting for my take out order but upon stepping foot into the door, nobody approached me asking if I needed help… which is okay but when I asked for help I was met with an extreme attitude as if it’s my fault for not eating here before, the bar tender was very short and disrespectful in his tone. I definitely do not recommend if you want good food and good service, food is amazing but I’d rather not eat than deal with this kind of service… makes me feel like they’re spitting in my food in the back that’s how foul the attitude and eye rolls were I didn’t expect anything besides help with the menu and possibly some good recommendations as to what to eat, but when I was Met with the attitude and disrespect from the bartender, it immediately rubbed me wrong, and ruin the whole experience 10 out of 10 don’t recommend

Was having a fine time here. Group of us drinking before a concert down the street. We had put a bunch of money in the juke box, money in the dart machine. When after a while a family of 10 came in and out of all the open table’s specifically had to have the ones in the way of the darts we were playing and asked for the music to be turned down within 5 minutes of their arrival. Managment seemly forgot about the existing customers and killed the vibe to accommodate this family’s whims. Couldn’t finish our game of darts because this family, felt uncomfortable and no longer welcomed and left mid game and mid drink.Sorry for thinking we could have a bar Atmosphere in a bar
