Lombardino's Restaurant

First time here and came with a group of 12. Servers were very accommodating. Pasta dish i had was like a stroganoff and my wife's was a sausage pasta. Both were excellent! Pizzas our friends had looked excellent. Will have to come back. Very nice atmosphere too. Also server was funny and did excellent job.

Absolutely terrible experience due to awful management.
I took a $30 Uber to come here, only to be left standing outside in cold weather for over 30 minutes. Their website says they open at 4:30 PM, and the sign on the main front door also says 4:30 PM today. After waiting, we noticed a bulletin inside saying they open at 5:00 PM, so we waited another 30 minutes.

They still never opened.

Other guests told us this happens last year and that the restaurant don’t open, yet they don’t bother updating their website or the signs they themselves put on the door. That shows a complete lack of respect for customers’ time and money.
If you’re not going to open, update your hours. If you change your hours, update your website and signage. Leaving people outside in the cold after they’ve spent money to get here is unacceptable.

Very disappointed, though their food is actually good.

Food is very bland no salt, pepper, or spices, and the portions were small for the pasta dishes. Also, myfamily had to wait in the hallway and would not be seated until after I dropped off the car due to the first come first serve and all members of the party must be present before being seated.

Italian Family restaurant much beloved in the community. Food is GREAT. Nice Italian decor with original Italian wall tiles at least 50 years old.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! Both pizzas and pasta are yummy. Pizzas are personal size, but could be shared between 2 people especially with appetizers. Be prepared for a wait even on weeknights, but you can sit at the bar or have them call you once your table is ready. The wait is worth it!

We had a really great time here at Lombardino's restaurant! Excellent food and ambiance. Our server was a pleasant young man. He was very helpful. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys real Italian cuisine.
We will go back again!

Best Italian in Madison! Went with my family tonight and had the best waiter- Drew. He was fast, gave excellent recommendations, and had the best attitude. The spaghetti bolognese, calamari, drinks, and crab halibut ravioli were all delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Dinner at Lombardino's last night for my wife's birthday. First time there. Was the best Italian dinner experience that I've had in the Madison area. Applause!!

This is a lovely family restaurant. The staff were phenomenal. The food was excellent. We shared the calamari and the prosciutto/arugula pizza.

45mins wait on a normal Thursday evening (arrived around 5:30)
Great great food!
The starter bread was warm and the olive oil had a nice nutty and peppery aftertaste.
We got the beef short rib which was very soft and the polenta which was served together was delicious as well.
The tagliatelle with truffled mushroom was also great.
Strongly recommend trying out their tiramisu!!!
