It was slow which was weird for a friday evening. Service was bad. Steaks were over cooked. Drink menu is almost gone. This was our goto for steak but this is the third time for bad service and bad steaks. Probably won't be back.

Other than it took 5 minutes for a server to show up and wait on us, everything was great. We ordered chopped steak with broccoli and a chicken strawberry salad. The server was attentive and friendly and the food was excellent.

Recommend wild west shrimp for app. Limited time is lamb chops. It's very worth it. Had a nice sear, tender, and glaze. Highly recommend the stampede for desert.

Ribeye was FRIED on a GRIDDLE or in a SKILLET & imbedded with black pepper on both sides. Two years ago, the same item had been perfectly prepared, just like the grill marks in the menu photo. The new cook has RUINED what used to be one of our favorite restaurants in the Madison area. The server and other staff were very professional, but they need to fire the cook.

Unfortunately disappointed by our visit. A few things we weren’t too impressed on… the French onion super was extremely salty and was mildy warm not hot plus they put an unnecessary amount of cheese on top and none of it melted so I didn’t bother eating it. I asked for my steak to be medium but it was more like well done and it was dry. My husband decided to pay extra to get the signature side of Mac and cheese but never received it and unfortunately we were distracted when we got our food and didn’t realize it until it was too late and still got charged for it. We also probably would have ordered more drinks but the bartender and waitress were too busy so we weren’t able to get their attention for more. I did enjoy their rice and shrimp thought to add a positive.
