The employees were super nice and respectful so everything went well there. But man was I disappointed in the food. The chicken was BOMB. I’ll give them that. It was nice and crispy and not overly oily like some places. 10/10 for the chicken. But as for the sides, I was pretty disappointed. The Mac and cheese tasted like butter noodles with no cheese. The greens were pretty okay, but a little too salty. The side of toast went well with the meal so that was nice. The fries, not so much. They were pretty flavorless. I was then pretty shocked when I got my mild sauce and it was basically sweet and sour? Maybe I don’t know my sauces but I was not expecting that. I was also sad to see my banana pudding was missing that I was looking forward to so sadly I don’t have a review for that. If I were to ever go back I’d only go for the chicken. They also have yams but I didn’t try those. My partner tried a gyro and was pretty sad that it was tiny/flavorless. BUT, he loved the chicken.
I also recommend ordering ahead if you can and doing take out. Everything is made to order so it takes a bit to make and there’s only one small table so it’s not really fit for groups or sitting down. While waiting for my meal I got bored and went over to the gas station this store is connected to and bought a soda and a couple of lottery tickets. I was a winner winner chicken dinner as they say!! I got a whopping $1 woo.

This was i first time ordering from this restaurant 😩 when I walked in the place is very shabby dirty dirty.The food was hoarable.My chicken was cooked too Hart.No seasoning my fries didn't have no salt on.I would never order from this place.

Tha Mac an cheese we're was the cheese no season on it the greens came out the can they were very saltyan o never taste it like that I'm from Rockford the yams didn't have flavor nasty the only thing was good was catfish I paid over 40$very disappointed !!!!! At the hospital with my son and his grandmother so disappointed

The chicken was SUPER small and tasteless, the Mac and cheese was so salty and light skin. The greens are straight nasty and the cornbread was straight cornmeal and it was so dry I choked. PLEASE save your money and your gas baby.

Great place for wings! The honey spice sauce is the best non-dip in town! Slide by for some easy slide thru foodsBeef Taco was bland, and vegetable toppings we void of nutrients and flavor.. prolly a Gyro turned Taco. The chicken sandwich made me disappointed in myself.Good people and fun vibes

All I can say is, wow, if you have not had their food, you definitely need to go it's so good.
Food is amazing. Always hot and fresh! Best chicken and ribs hands down! Mild Sauce and hand cut fries! The sides are sooo good as well. I have had the dressing, yams, mac n cheese and spaghetti. Also the best catfish I have ever had. The only issue I have when I go there is deciding what to order because everything is so good. Even the next day the chicken and fries are good cold lol! Also they are very friendly. My entire family loves this place we drive from Beaver Dam weekly to eat here!

My co worker she's from Chicago also she recommended them to me. I wasn't disappointed at all. I got a 3 piece catfish lemon pepper with mild sauce and it was awesome!! This is the closest I can get to chicago. The owner was very insightful and very nice. Thank you so much for the good food. The mild sauce on the fries was really good. I will be back. ?

My co worker she's from Chicago also she recommended them to me. I wasn't disappointed at all. I got a 3 piece catfish lemon pepper with mild sauce and it was awesome!! This is the closest I can get to chicago. The owner was very insightful and very nice. Thank you so much for the good food. The mild sauce on the fries was really good. I will be back. ?
