The food is so good, it is like home made. It is a small place but you can have a great time with your company. You can taste the mediterranean and some arabic flavors . Give yourself the opportunity to visit this place.

We ordered 10 meals for our team, to be delivered. One meal was omitted. One meal was cancelled after the order was picked up, so two individuals were forced to "borrow" from the others who received food. The quality of the food that was delivered was below average based on other Madison Mediterranean food offerings. The Mediterranean Joint on Willy St for example, which is not perfect but substantially better than our experience with the Mediterranean Cafe. Falafel was bland, lacking spices and freshness. It was mostly just chickpeas without any fresh herbs like parsely, dill, cilantro. The chicken and lamb/beef shwarmas were also lacking taste. I've eaten in the restaurant a couple of times also, simply because I was on State St. It's definitely worth finding other more tasty options.

I just love this place. As a UW employee, it's one of my go-to lunch spots with colleagues because of how close it is to campus but how easy it is to take folks of any dietary restriction there. The owner is super friendly and I've heard great things from the employees that have worked there. My usual order is the Falafel plate + algerian tea (the tea is amazing!!)

We know the owner and the staff and they are really nice ?. And the service is very cooperative, plus they serve the food faster than any other sit down restraunt I've been to. As for the atmosphere it gives out the vibes of a nice cozy little local place.
Nothing was fresh, got the shawarma plate absolutely disgusted me. The lamb and beef had a rancid taste. Atmosphere was not much better than the food, was dark and had a weird smell.

The staff was very good. Getting us right away and giving us time to sit with the menu and decide. Courteous when taking order and bringing our food. It is a small cafe and decorated creatively. I enjoyed the bits and baubs. Food arrived quickly.

Ordered beef gyro with pita bread. Gyro is average in taste. I would recommend a more better blend of spices. I am from Toledo/Dearborn area from OH and MI border and gyro there is much tastier and juicy.

In just a minute, you can fill your stomach with delicious and healthy food! The service is incredibly fast! Great value for money. We ordered two dishes: my boyfriend had a dish with lamb and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I wasn’t very hungry, so I ordered a salad, chicken soup, and bread. The chicken soup was sour but still very good, and it paired well with the pita bread. Even the salad was enough to fill a girl with a small appetite.
Their pistachio pastry is the best I’ve ever had! The crust is very flaky, not overly sweet and it’s rare to find a dessert with the right sweetness level in the U.S. It retains the pistachio fragrance and has a rich, creamy flavor. I don’t know how they make the pastry so creamy flavor, but it’s really delicious! I ended up packing several pistachio pastries to take home. Next time, even if I don’t eat a meal there, I will definitely stop by to pack more pistachio pastries.
