Migrants is no longer located along the beltline and they do not have a physical location for the restaurant. Instead you can order online or by phone for catering (5+ people) with delivery.

I’ve been meaning to come after meeting the owner a couple months ago at an event but today’s service and quality was horrible. I don’t know if today was an off night but the wait time and food wasn’t great. The wait time was too long yet the food was barely even lukeworm. I ordered the taco dinner with charro beans yet got black beans that were so dry, they looked like they had been microwaved repeatedly. While waiting to order, I watched as the group in front of me grew increasingly frustrated and I tried to remain understanding but everything from the cold food to poor communication from the employees made it an irredeemable experience. I can’t even blame it on the language barrier as I’m bilingual and was speaking Spanish to them. I’m so disappointed to say the least.

We booked Migrants for our wedding reception. The food was AMAZING. I got so many compliments. Not only was the food great but Oscar and his staff worked their butt off to make sure our dinner and day was perfect. I couldn't have been happier. We love them!

I have eaten here a couple of times and as a vegan really want to like it, but a visit in January 2023 has completely put me off of this place. Customer service was not great and I have concerns about how the food is being handled here. People were wearing gloves while on cell phones and preparing my meal. Overall the flavor of the food is mediocre.

My name is Shelby and I wanted to share with you my personal hero of our family. Chef Oscar’s impeccable talent of creating edible art allows my lost senses to return. After over exposure to vaccines during the pandemic I am unable to taste flavors and textures at any other restaurant. Chef Oscar fixed this handicap at his lovely establishment Migrants.I have lived in Madison 40+ years and have never been to such establishment that provides a guest experience, incredible and creative cuisine consistently. Chef Oscar knows what he is doing and shows humility while doing so.People in our retirement community would love to make a monthly trip to Migrants for drag brunch, & taco Tuesday. We are tired of eating flat, lacking creativity, plain frozen dishes from Sysco or Reinhart Food vendors. I wish we could hire you for personal chef cooking courses!Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Solid lunch spot. Stopped in for my 1st time for a business meeting. Steak and shrimp quesadilla was on point. Huge side or rice and beans.

2023 - Two years later and the food is even more attractive! The quality of the taco dinner has brought us back again, and we're over an hour away. The tacos that are new to us are the lamb, quinoa chorizo, squash & spinach. It's an amazing grouping of flavors with the 8 different sauces we can add on our own. It's still worth trip.2021 - Migrants was recommended to us, and we are very pleased with the service and options of their menu. Fish Tacos on Friday were salmon, and the Chorizo Quinoa were both outstanding! The range of options for flavors, are amazing. We live an hour away from the restaurant and are so glad we made the trip!

The food was good, and they were training new staff when we went, so hopefully, that explains some of the confusion when ordering. Overall, the food didn't seem that fresh, which could be down to the frequency of customers. There were a half dozen people that came in during the 45 minutes or so we were there. I think this place is worth giving another shot. The flavor of the food was good, and their menu is expansive. I am interested in trying other things. I will just need to go at a busier time and see if the food seems more fresh.

First time for lunch, second time for breakfast- both experiences were great. Convenient right off the highway

This place is fantastic. Great options for Vegan and vegetarians. Friendly/helpful staff and a lot of options. I can’t wait to come back.

Delicious guacamole, food, and friendly service. They make their tacos from fresh masa on a flat top as they go. Pictured is chicken tinga burrito. There is also an amazing salsa bar with many flavorful varieties. :)The dining area is modest and is a little chipotle style, but not without character. Feels more naturally like a to-go place.Visited on Madison restaurant week.

I needed to order for a staff lunch, and was looking for something to please 30 people with a million different preferences. We have a bunch of vegetarians, vegans, and people with allergies. Chef Oscar called and walked me through the whole order. He also helped me make adjustments and gave me some really helpful suggestions. He dropped it off right on time for delivery (so I had everything set up in time, but not early so it was still warm) and everything was packaged perfectly.I was anxious about feeding such a large group with a budget, but everyone was so impressed and wants to order again, soon. Thank you so much, Chef Oscar! I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

This Isn’t The Place To Go! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!I went for taco Tuesday and we where the only people there. Seemed like nobody showed up at all that day which is weird for a Mexican restaurant on a Tuesday. I wish I took a photo of the kitchen, it all looked like it has been sitting there for a days. The food had crust forming on the top, luckily they picked from the bottom of the container before serving us.The customer service was absolutely awful. There was only one English speaking employee who was sitting on the computer for a while before helping us. He had a pretty hostile attitude. My fiancé asked for the verde sauce on her enchilada but they gave her red sauce instead. They also microwaved her food right in front of us with zero shame. I ordered the taco dinner that was supposed to be a dollar off each taco but they charged me full price. Speaking of pricing, Google says one $ sign but should be more like $$. They gave us a small chips and guacamole but charged me for a large. Every thing was very sketchy and seems they have zero respect for customers. The food was not great at all and well over priced. Food definitely isn’t their priority and that’s crazy for a restaurant. Don’t come here. From what I remember what you see in this picture, I was charged about $47. Too expensive, and not to mention how sick I was after the food.SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO HERE!
