Had lunch buffet at 2pm. Noone in the building and the server only came to my table to bring me water I didn't ask for and a fork. Never came bk to see if I needed anything or ask what I wanted to drink no deserts very minimal food on the buffetI don't recommend not for $15

Went on a Sunday for the lunch buffet. Great price, adequate offerings. The goat curry was good, though you had to dig for meat chunks, the chicken biryani was flavorful if light on chicken, the samosas were hot and good. The chicken tikka masala was mediocre, but the paneer was good. Some good pickle/sauce options. Overall decent food for a really good price but a smaller selection.

Other than a very cold bathroom, everything was wonderful. The food delivered with a complimentary hot dal (on a very cold day) and a smile. Tofu Secuwa and Tofu Buff were at a wonderful spice level (we chose level 3). I will try level 4 next time, but it was perfect for my husband. The roti and naan were delish as well. Yogurt sauce was OK, mint sauce a little bitter.
Vegetarian options: Tofu was especially tasty and not greasy/deepfried. It has wonderful marinades / spices combos.

We got take out on 01/03/2025 and we got sick, 3 people. This was the only meal this day accept coffee. We had samosa, garlic naan, butter chicken and, lamb madras. Next time we got sick, we will keep food for testing by Wisconsin DPT of Health Services. We did not pay Mirch Masala to get sick.

The food is delicious but the customer service is terrible. On several occasions, they have waited to start making our takeout order that we called in until we arrived. They have also given us spicy when we ordered medium or mild, which was much spicier than what we were expecting obviously.

I love the garlic naan, best I’ve had in Madison. I got the daal, fish pakora, garlic naan, and chai. It’s definitely a mom and pop place. I think the owner was my server. Very nice woman, I don’t know how she does everything by herself. Large restaurant, but not busy when I was there. The location has been many other restaurants in the past. I hope they stay.

Decor is unique and Nepal-themed as others have mentioned. Very friendly and extensive menu. Food was flavorful and meat was tender. Price was alright and portion was decent.
I come here all the time to feed my body and soul with the freshly baked crispy garlic naan and chicken tikka masala. You must dine in to get the best of it. Need more people to enjoy the great food here!
