This is my favorite coffee shop in Madison. All of the staff at the Mineral Point Rd location are great, but Melissa and Jeremy are standouts. SO incredibly nice! And the Jamaican Road Warrior is the best drink around.

Was visiting my daughters over Thanksgiving we went here which is a place she loves. It is a drive-thru coffee shop and I'm not a coffee drinker so I had some up there hot cocoa. It was delicious and I know it's her favorite place to go in Verona Wisconsin where she works. Even with a line they had someone out there taking orders and it moved very smoothly plus everyone there was really friendly.

Had coffee here a few times. They're OK. Their employer policies stink. They have refused to pay holiday pay even when found at fault by the State of Wisconsin. See link below. madison.com/news/local/c…

Favorite latte spot! Friendliest servers who come outside to get your order while your car is in line for window pickup. Thank you Moka!!

I've been wanting to try Moka for a while now! There is always a long line so it must be good. Came around 1 pm and of course, there was a line! A man was outside taking orders and that helped the line to go much quicker. He suggested the Americao - said I didn't need to add anything to it because it'll be sweet enough. It was good. Definitely will be back!

Let me start by saying I love this place. The people are friendly and cheerful. The coffee is delicious and their chocolate chip cookies are incredible! I have only one complaint, and for me, it's a big one. I drive through this location daily, usually sometime between noon and 4 PM. 9 times out of 10, they are out of chocolate chip cookies. Today, I was here just after noon, and once again they were out. I've asked the gentleman who appears to be in charge why they don't order more cookies. (Apparently they order only 4 per day!!) His reasoning basically amounted to that they didn't want to end up with any left over at the end of the day. It seems to me they would rather disappoint customers then have to pay an extra couple dollars for leftover cookies. Sad. Also...if they're running out by early afternoon nearly every single day, it just makes good business sense to up the order.Whaddup coffee cup!?!?

First of all, coffee and service were both phenomenal and definitely deserve 5 stars.I have a bone to pick with whoever runs this place. Their system doesn't allow for credit card tips, so the only way the baristas are getting any tips are people who still carry cash. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I have not carried cash regularly since the pandemic started.I was a barista for 7 years, and it is hard work. You are constantly multitasking and dealing with the general public before they've had their coffee. Again, I'm not sure about everyone else, but I wouldn't wish my pre-coffee self on my worst enemy. I see tips as a way to make up for my still groggy, less than friendly self. After leaving with my cold brew today, I wondered if maybe MOKA pays a living wage to make up for lack of credit card tips. I took the liberty of going to the employment section on their website. They advertise barista positions as $14-$20 an hour. Awesome! A living wage! However, take a closer look and you'll find they pay $11 an hour and get the $14-$20 figure by assuming $3-$9 in tips hourly. Let's say you have 3 baristas working, that means you need to be getting $9-$27 in tips per hour to be making the advertised wage.Let's be generous and assume 3/4 of customers tip a full dollar. That means if you have 12-36 customers an hour, the wage should be accurate and fair. That's not a tall order for a drive-thru coffee stand. But back to the point! This assumes all customers who would tip pay exclusively in cash. Let's be generous again and say 1/2 of customers use cash payments. With MOKA's current cash tips only system, they need to be pushing through at least 24-72 customers an hour for their advertised wage to be met. Maybe this works out during morning rush hours, but the drive through most certainly isn't packed all day. $14-$20 an hour means every hour.LONG story short, pay your staff more or update your POS system to allow for credit card tips. People in Madison care about how employers treat their employees.

I go to the Mineral Point location frequently and have never had a bad experience. The staff are so friendly, understanding and helpful. The coffee is amazing and so is the staff.
