The yellow curry is to die for - I'd love to just buy a quart of it and put it on everything!

Date of visit: March 7, 2024Little store front eatery on Atwood Avenue. Not familiar with the neighborhood and all I saw was street parking. We did park in a little neighborhood about 1 1/2 blocks down; weather was pleasant for a walk.In our party we ordered the Fresh Rolls, Pad Pik Pow with beef, Pad Thai Hor Kai chicken and Drunken Noodles.Fresh Rolls were satisfying. I felt the accompanying peanut sauce was a little thick. I actually enjoyed the rolls better dipped in the remainder of the dressing that was on my side salad.I enjoyed my Pad Pik Pow with beef very much and will order it again. The spiciness was just right. This came with a delicious side salad and I loved the dressing, but cannot put my finger on what components of the dressing were. One daughter ordered the Pad Thai Hor Kai, which she felt was a little too sweet. Presentation was beautiful. My other daughter loves Drunken Noodles and although good, these did not quite meet her standards.Atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and it looks like outdoor seating is available in warmer weather.Overall, we enjoyed our experience and I definitely enjoyed my meal. Given the opportunity, I would return.

On the casual neighborhood restaurant scale Monsoon is five stars! Our food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service is friendly. The crispy duck and curry fried rice was great in house, and I just finished the reheated take home container for lunch. Mmm yum! Many more things to try when we return. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in their restaurant.

I came here for lunch with two other people. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was amazing both in flavor and presentation! The others in my party had the shrimp pad Thai and the Monsoon Fried Rice. Wow, the Monsoon Fried Rice was an entire display of amazingness, even coming served in a half of a pineapple! It's also worth mentioning that the prices are incredibly good for the food quality and quantity! If you've read this far, you definitely need to go here and treat your mouth to something delicious.

The closest Thai food to home I could find. Their Krapow has been my favorite. Told them I had a bad day today and they wrote back in Thai giving support. ?? I was so touched I cried. It means a lot. Pla Pad ped is also very tasty.

They moved locations (just down the street) and I find the new spot’s interior more aesthetic looking. Even their food display ! It’s not only just plates but they made it more Thai inspiring. I like how the owner posted each dish, its history, and how owner got inspired. I actually went around and read them all.We ordered Num Tok, Beef Brisket Curry, and Thai Table. I would rate Num Tok a 4/5- I wish it was thinner slices and smaller slices. I would rate the brisket curry 10/10– the save is super good and meat is very tender. The best dish and I plan to continue ordering. The Thai Table is 4/5– I find the Tum Yum soup flavor too strong of sourness and sweetness— it was just right after diluting it with warm water. I think the best meat in the dish is the chicken and fish ?

Wow! Our party had the Cruspy Red Duck, Pad Thai , and the Beef Rib Yellow Curry. The duck was indeed crispy, the shrimp with the pad Thai were perfectly cooked, and the beef rib was melt in your mouth tender. Flavors were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately, we never got to try the food. I called to inquire about placing a carryout order via phone, or in person, as we live down the street from the new location. Google mentioned an 815pm delivery cut off (it was exactly 815), but 9pm closing. The person who answered repeatedly cut me off and never let me ask the question, prior to her just hanging up on me. Super disappointed.

Stopped here for lunch and it was good Thai food. I love spicy food and most places go pretty safe as they don't want patron to return food. If you want it spicy they can make spicier than most. Was a great place to eat.

I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, spice level 4/5.First off the taste is really good! I was happy with the flavor and cook of the Pad Thai, unfortunately the spice was missing. I expect a 4/5 spicy to be HOT. This was one of the most mild Thai dishes I have ever had.If you are looking for an authentic Thai spicy you may need to look elsewhere. This could have been a one off occurrence but who knows. ?‍♂️

This can easily be the best restaurant in Madison, period. The waiter is super energetic and friendly. He remembers you if you go there more than one time, and would chat with you, give recommendations and what not. The food can be spicy. But the kapow half duck and fried fish are sooo good.
