Coffee is good, prices are decent. Love the atmosphere and the homely feeling of the interior although it was a little dim for me to read or draw.

Ordered an iced latte, got a hot one. Severely overpriced for the watery, weird-tasting swamp water I was served. Doesn’t take card, doesn’t “do dairy” (exact words of barista). Pastries in display case looked like old, dull war rations. When I spent a few minutes setting up my PayPal (to pay them), barista looked at me like I was the scum of the earth for wasting their time and not having my PayPal on deck when entering their sacred coffee shop. Threw out the coffee after two sips. Give me a break. Do yourself a favor and just go to starbucks at this point. At least they’ll get your order right.

The vegan bakery was disappointing here. The banana chocolate chip cupcake tasted overwhelmingly like baking powder and had a gummy texture. The blueberry Danish was cold and hard with more of a pie crust texture. I was told I could warm it up in the microwave myself...

Cappuccino was really good. Vegan Blueberry Danish was really good. Business is Cash only, but even with the fee on the ATM the total was cheaper than 1 drink and 1 pastry anywhere else.

Discovered this place during Fete de Marquette and what a beautiful shop that’s wonderfully vegan and planet friendly. I wish more coffee shops were like this. Delicious coffee of course! I will be back. 😊

I went in on a Thursday afternoon. It was quiet and slow and atmosphere was nice. All the pastries are vegan!! Yey! I got the danishes and they were a nice sweet treat. They were more dough and pie like compared to a buttery and flaky danish but still really good. Stephanie was super kind to explain some coffee flavors to me as I’m not a huge coffee drinker. Great place and I can’t wait to come back when I visit families here in Madison again.

Cash only, but they have an ATM if you forget. Also nice kombucha and teas available if you don't want coffee. 😉
