Very willy st in the most willy st way. Vegan cash only weird run down building and terrible chairs. I have been hunting for a really good americano in Madison for a long time and this place is a top contender. Their espresso is just really good and yummy. The barista was kind and chill. He recommended a great tea combo that I really liked. Not too expensive either I think the americano was under 4$ which can be rare in Madison right now sadly.

Totally vegan and very VERY delicious. Love the ambiance of the "around the corner coffee shop". One of the best chai lattes I've had. Must note, they do not accept standard card: only PayPal and cash (a bit old school). Just a heads up when trying to pay/tip.

Great place! But my friend and i came in today and the barista was working alone, she was super new and struggling a lot. The manager should be doing a better job of making sure their employees are comfortable and ready to be working alone, and have the support they need. As a former barista I almost went back there and helped her myself!

I love this coffee shop so much! I love the art that’s always changing and their drinks are some of my favorite. Everything has intention from the way the baked goods are packaged, to where the coffee and tea come from, and the art that they decorate the shop with. I would recommend anyone to come here. It’s also the best place to study at. The tea and coffee are very affordable :)Dietary restrictions: All vegan!

Nice cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Head’s up, it’s cash or PayPal only. I’m glad I had a few dollars on me but would have gotten more had I been able to use a card (even debit).

Very solid coffeehouse with a diverse selection of vegan pastries on offer. Excellent choice for any vegans travelling through the area!I'm puzzled to see another reviewer claim that the place is cash-only. That is incorrect. I remember I managed to pay with... I think it was PayPal. A little unusual, and it took me a second to arrange that, but definitely not strictly cash-only.Vegetarian options: Fully vegan menu.Dietary restrictions: Fully vegan menu.

My daily local coffeehouse when I’m in town, which is a couple times annually. Still feels like I’m a local when remembered by the barista from visit to visit. Love the ambiance, the coffee and the baked goods. Bought two art pieces in August from the monthly artist exhibits they do. Love to just hang out here and chill in the window seat with a book and watch the world go by.

I like to come here on my day off of work and just chill with coffee. The coffee has consistently been good.

I don’t believe the customer is always right but I do believe in making sure the customer is wrong before telling them they are, and I had poor interactions with several staff members. Before ordering, I asked the cashier which teas are available iced, and they replied “any of them” to which I clarified “I can get any of these teas iced?” Yes. Great, I pick an interesting sounding tea and as we’re paying the cashier does not ask what size tea I want so I clarify before we pay that I’d like a large ice tea in case he rang up a different size. Then the barista/owner chimes in “Iced? I wish you’d told me that before I made it”- the cashier does not come to my defense, despite saying iced tea 3 times at this point. The drink is not remade and i am served hot tea with ice cubes in it.Note that it is Cash only and and despite some of the odd prices, tax is not included. Note that iced latte will run you $8 and my tea was almost $4No food beyond pastries as far as I could tell but when we brought in our own lunch we were told we’d need to leave.Pros: free WiFi
