Food was okay. Had the lobster ravioli and another pasta dish with chicken. Main courses all arrived somewhat cold and there was about 5 minute gap between everyone‘s food arriving.Service was somewhat pushy about ordering multiple courses but inattentive for most of the meal. It took 5 minutes and asking two different people to get silverware. Waters took a while to refill despite asking. The price was quite high for the ambiance, service, and food.The space is crammed with many tables so that it is difficult to walk between tables. Menu could probably use an update as well - difficult to read in the dark light and many things crossed through or stickers put over for updated prices.The pizza did look delicious, though.

The place was packed, when I say packed I mean you could barely walk and there was no space in between tables. Because it was so full it was really loud, hard to maintain a conversation. Service was slow, they brought the wrong plate, I had to wait 15 minutes more for the right one. The place is super cute but it was just a really busy night for them. From the minute you walk in you are treated like family. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner, Sal, made sure we were taken care of. The food is fresh, authentic and homemade. The wine selection is second to none. The atmosphere is very lively and fun. Absolutely love this place and will definitely be back! A+++

I have never thought about crying after a meal before. This was an incredible experience. This was italian cuisine- not American Italian. Italian!!!! Beautiful presentation. The meat practically melted in the mouth.Good friends. Good laughter. Great waiter with lots of patience. Not easy to find. No fancy signs. Which makes me glad Because I will be able to return and still get a seat again without a wait...hmmmm maybe I shouldn't have reviewed this one

One of my favorite local spots when I travel to Madison. I love that they have a variety of gluten-free options that don't sacrifice tradition. And Roman's coffee is the best. ❤️ Ask for it... I promise you will not be disappointed!
