Im half Korean, and this is the better Korean restaurant in town. No frills, no thrills, but the food is on point.
The gimbap was absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly rolled. However, the dakbokkeumt we ordered was disappointing. It tasted more Japanese than Korean, with a lot more cabbage than chicken, which threw off the balance of the dish.
The galbitang (beef short rib soup) was decent — the broth was satisfying, but the meat was a bit tough and could have been more tender.
Unfortunately, the tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) was the biggest letdown. The batter was not crispy at all, and it would have been better if they served the sauce on the side or gave an option to pour it ourselves.
This place has potential, especially with dishes like the gimbap, but there’s definitely room for improvement in authenticity and execution for the rest of the menu.
Love the food, the place has a chill atmosphere, nice staff, and everything was perfect. This place is quite the hidden gem. This is my first time here and I was pleasantly pleased by everything. Very cozy. Authentic Korean cuisine. Love it all. Thank you for giving me the most awesome first time here. 👍
Wonderful discovery today! Delicious food, nice service. We went because of all the Korean shows we’ve been watching on Netflix. So glad we did.
It is a very good Korean restaurant in Madison and Middleton area!!
I thought tip is not necessary 🫤
Favorite Madison Korean food restaurant.
Korean food is my favorite and this just wasn't it. I had a lunch combo if rice and beef for $15 (otherwise everything is $20+) and it was bland af. It also came with no side dishes which is standard in many Korean restaurants. The interior of the establishment was dirty, dingy and very dated looking with no care for decor, and the service was essentially non existent, but when it was present it was cold and rushed.
It's not worth a sit down at this restaurant. You would definitely take out if you're craving Korean, it better yet, seek out a different spot. Disappointing.
Very tasty! Will definitely be back again.

Everything about this place is amazing. Their food was absolutely outstanding and everything was perfectly cooked, I didn’t expect their service to be so fast. The owner is so kind and welcoming. The whole restaurant itself is amazing. I would 1000% recommend eating at this place! 5 stars isn’t enough.

Food is not really that great, was disappointed. The owner got mad because we were short of some cents for the tip. They force you to give minimum of 15% tip. I don't have a problem giving tip but he really embarrassed us infront of other customers. I do not recommend this place.
I want to like this place, but it's just not great. Needs a good cleaning. Interior is boring. Employee sat at the table next to us in the dining room on his phone while we ate. It was weird.

My must haves when I eat here are Bibimbop and Kimbop. Not very many Korean restaurants that I have eaten at even have Kimbop on their menus. As far as Bibimbop, I have never been a fan of the rock bowls and prefer mine in a regular bowl, which you can get either way here.
