Fun suprise. The Diablo corn was fantastic. Also grabbed an order of the brisket nachos. Also really good. Was not able to finish the nachos. All while having a frosty beverage from the tap. Going to stop again really soon. Sat out on the sidewalk at a table. Side Street was not overly busy and was shaded.

A classic Madison watering hole with yummy tacos! Some of the standards but I always prefer their more interesting concoctions, like a recent curry chicken taco w/amazing mango chutney! It's on a side street, so the sidewalk patio is relatively quiet & gets nice shade in the afternoon. I don't actually drink booze, so cannot comment on that aspect. 😋

Okay this place is KILLER for tacos. The scorcher, the New Guy, and the Old guy tacos were amazing. Just had the nachos for the first time and I'm pretty sure I had an out of body experience or something. So good. My friends said the oysters were good too. The only thing that I had that was not a culinary masterpiece was the Islander taco. It was just bland by comparison to the other yummy stuff there.

Wasn’t all that impressed. Cash only - they point you to the ATM. $14 draft house margaritas - overpriced and they don’t even fill up your glass all the way.

Great bar and food! But don't bother with touch tunes, the bartenders randomly turn off the box even when you're playing totally normal music for the situation and time.
