Went to OPH for breakfast for my birthday. They are my FAVORITE breakfast place in the Madison area. Went on a later Sunday morning so there was a 40 minute wait but think was less than that. Weather was perfect so waited outside breathing in the smells of bacon🤤 ordered their bacon waffle which is my go-to for the sweet and salty perfection. Crispy hashbrowns with cheese which all 4 of us ate off of. Their hot chocolate had fresh made whipped cream. I usually get their omelet too but was trying to not over eat. Their omelets are the best! Baked and not greasy. Spinach omelet is my favorite with their Spanish sauce which is like a marinara chili kind of. Tried my brother's dutch baby delight which has always caught my eye when others order it. Had a kind of gooey middle. Was also delish! Service is always great, friendly, and always on top of their coffee refill game. Highly recommend!

Incredible food and service. The standard of speed, taste, and cost you hope for out of a breakfast joint but rarely get elsewhere these days. There can be a wait, especially if you come during weekend brunch hours, but it's worth it.

This is truly one of the best restaurants. Management is wonderful and staff are all so well trained, polite, and attentive. Food is always fantastic and prices are very reasonable. Fresh squeezed orange juice is actually fresh squeezed. Fruit is so fresh, and food is always hot. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.

Just moved to Middleton from Atlanta and decided to check out The Original Pancake House today. Wow — the food was absolutely delicious and the service was super friendly! I couldn't believe how huge the portions were. I had the mushroom crêpes, bacon, and sausage — everything hit the spot. It's definitely a new favorite!
