We ordered a Caprese Panini heated at DCA earlier. It was warmed in the microwave and the bread came out soft and somewhat slimy! I suggest that you abandon the panini offering and serve the caprese on a sourdough roll or something. It will heat up much better. I can’t be the only one to leave this type of review on the “heated” caprese panini

I never leave bad reviews but I have been in line so long that it just makes sense. This coffee shop is one of the worst I’ve been to in terms of service. The food and drinks are good but there’s probably a 50% chance they get your order wrong. They are also almost always understaffed or are running around doing things instead of taking orders and not understanding your order when you finally get up there (I’ve been in an 8 person line for 20 minutes) unless you really have to go here I would recommend going to another coffee shop.

Not sure if I walked into Peet’s Coffee or a zombie movie set. Ordered a cappuccino, waited 30 minutes, and when I finally asked, they just shrugged and said they didn’t see my order.
No apology. No urgency. Just dead eyes and slow motion like the staff was running on decaf… from last week 😬😬😬🙄

If you enjoy being ignored by baristas who look like they haven’t blinked since 2009, this is your spot.
Peet’s, please get it together. People’s time matters.

The matcha I just got tastes like milk, they also handed it to me with foam and cream and stuff all over the cup like ???? I paid EIGHT $ for this green milk and you’re giving it to me covered in slop ? Also once I ordered a shaker with green tea and no berries and they gave me black tea with no ice???? Idk guys this place sucks go to the Chazen one bc they put their whole matchussy into that drink. Good place to study but also a good place to ruin your entire day with this joke of a drink!

Although there were 4 people working, the wait time was horrendous; roughly 33 minutes for 2 drinks. Staff was unorganized, holding up two foot long strips of receipt orders trying to figure out what to do next. Two of the four workers barely called out the name of ready orders to the large crowd (19 counted standing, who knows how many sitting) of waiting customers resulting in orders sitting on the counter for pickup. I had to ask workers if they lost my 2 drink order, They miraculously found it and said the problem was the almond milk was in the back. Also, they said it takes a "long time to steam milk". They handled my black coffee without any glitches at least. The manager needs to get the staff trained. One customer apparently gave up because there was a drink on the counter waiting for pick up the entire time. Truly, I have seen boy scout pancake breakfasts looking like well oiled capitalist machines compared to this group of workers.

The staff even tells myself to cover the lid, cuz she can’t cover it well. Ordered lemonade shaker with no ice every time, but they usually gave me the drink with full ice. Told them to get rid of ice, they simply just poured off half of my drink.

So terrible.
I waited so long. The coffee here is expensive and suck.
I spent 2.85$ just got a tiny tiny cup of coffee, espresso. The espresso usually smaller but not that small. I didn’t thought about it, so ridicules.
The blueberry Muffin is so sweet.

The clerk doesn't even know the products, and what’s guests are ordering. His english is so terrible. The coffee maker is also a student part-time worker.

How long does it take to pour a cup of coffee? Apparently, about 30 minutes. Ridiculous how understaffed they are and how little the present staff seemed to care that there were 30 people standing around waiting for their order.

For iced lattes I would recommend a more local place as Madison has plenty of good options.

Ordered a cold brew and a frappe to sip on by the terrace — not a huge coffee drinker but this coffee was quite unpleasant

The hours state that they close at 7pm. Today, 15 mins before closing they stopped serving. Perhaps this may be seen as reasonable. But would be nice for it to be stated somewhere that they close early? Especially since the grand opening, was hoping they would be more consistent. This is a trend I also see at the Union south peets where I have been denied service up to 30 mins before closing.

I said I didn’t want syrup in the new menu & waited for 30 minutes for a drink & they still didn’t make the change. The staff sounds irritated too.

Temporary Peet's location. Ordered a hot white chocolate mocha with whole milk and whipped cream. Got something that seemed to be coffee with milk that was not steamed, no whipped cream and a tiny hint of dark mocha flavor in the first sip only. This large drink cost me $6.80. The barista threw my receipt in the trash without offering it to me.

Parking: Found 1 street metered spot across Langdon Street.
