We came to Perkins at 10 AM for breakfast and had a terrible experience. Our server slammed a sauce bottle on the table, didn’t follow up on our order, and didn’t bring all the items we ordered — our plate was incomplete. She also failed to provide boxes for our leftovers. Slow, careless, and completely unprofessional service ruined our visit. Absolutely unacceptable.

We were sat at a table but asked for a booth even though there were 2 empty booths we were told none were available so we waited. 15 minutes later we get a booth next to one of the ones that had been opened (that booth was sat right after we were seated) the waitress was unbelievable rude during our service. We knew what we wanted and ordered fast. Our waitress kept walking by us never checked on us. Finally flagged her down for togo container and the bill. Mind you the other booth had left 15 minutes earlier, their waitress was good, they ordered more food than we did. I asked for the manager was told they had quit and no one has taken their place. So there was no one to talk to. Never been treated so poorly.

I have always loved Perkins but today we went in on a Tuesday morning not in a rush whatsoever. I asked for ranch 3 times and finally got it when I finished my meal. We also sat waiting for a box for half an hour with no one helping us.

From the moment I walked in, the restaurant felt warm, clean, and inviting. The friendly staff greeted guests with smiles and made sure everyone felt comfortable, which immediately set a positive tone for the meal.
The food at Perkins was outstanding and clearly made with care. The menu offered a wide variety of options, making it easy for anyone to find something they would enjoy. I think the food was good the guy up front super nice and friendly but the waiter of some not okay at all; not only did we wait so long for our food but the waiter we had horrible, as I was trying to situate myself and my children she comes by along and says “any coffee, tea, water etc” and since she did not greet us in any way or introduce herself I did not have time to process I responded with saying “2 coffees and..” she turned around and started walking away and I was appalled at her “customer service” I said excuse me I’m not done that was rude and she proceeded to say “oh I thought you were I’m the only waitress here” as time went and once she took our order she just stood there writing stuff down and no conversation or maybe explaining the menu or something as the time passes by she obviously noticed that I am very annoyed and upset at the situation she proceeded to ask me “are you okay.” I gave her no response and she walked away. I can’t remember if I ever got her name (Jody) but she’s just horrible. A different waitress approach us with the remainder of our food and she was beyond nice and most gentle person ever and try to be very attentive to everyone else’s needs and checking in to see if we needed anything else she was so nice; next time I come in it is to give her thanks for being kind and most amazing person other than that unfortunately I am not sure if I’d ever dine there again.

All of the servers are amazing, BUT if you want to get drinks, have your food hot and ready, and offered bakery at the end of your stay you should recommend Hope. Shes very consistent, will give updates on how long of a wait is on your food if there is a wait. Food is ALWAYS hot when it comes to the table, shes very respectful and shes amazingly fast and good at everything. You can see her helping her coworkers with their drinks, food, taking cash and even helps clean off other tables thats not hers, shes 100% a team player!
