Great food was cooked to order even when I was the only in after the dinner rush. Fresh cut and cooked vegetables and perfectly cooked steak. Awesome flavor. Definitely gonna eat here once a week.

Portion sizes are really small for the price. Like really small. It is delicious though.

My favorite poke place, very fresh!

One of my favorite places. On the pricey end (you'll spend about $14-$20 for a bowl) but worth it for what you get and the quality of the ingredients. I'm sort of snobby with seafood bc I'm from a fishing/Eastern Seaboard town and I trust this place for quality 100%. The kind of place I go on payday lol.

Fresh food, great selection, and the staff is always friendly. We visit everytime we are in the state street area.

Two days after visiting this store, I had a charge on my credit card that I did not understand. I had used that credit card at the store.

The employee Carly was super helpful and friendly while dealing with a doordash error. She made sure I got my food and was very patient and generous. Bad delivery experience but the customer service definitely made up for

I originally wanted to eat at Rising Son Lao & Thai cuisine but they were closed. We stopped at this place next door and I think it was a very cute & small restaurant.i enjoyed the food but it was a little pricy for 2 entrees, they weren’t very big portions. good for lunch, maybe not for dinner.we got the chicken teriyaki & i made my own salmon bowl.interesting music choice in there.Good experience, big menu. I would come back to try the eel donburi & takoyaki (octopus balls)!

Pretty good poke place. I really love poke bowls. We went to Poke It Up first but their restaurant smelled so bad I didn’t think I could eat there. Not sure if it was rotten seafood or not but this place was clean and inviting. I got the Hawaiian bowl. My boyfriend got a custom made one. I never had baby octopus before. I felt a bit like I should have blindfolded myself like people who eat those whole birds…hopefully readers have watched Succession…because those babies were delicious but made me feel guilty. Octopi are beautiful, intelligent creatures. Makes me want to go vegetarian. But the bowl was the freshness I needed after throwing up via a late night Wings Over Madison order. There was a parking garage close by too.

Parking: Getting around the college as a new visitor was very frustrating. But there is a parking structure close by and it’s not too expensive. Not sure if the city validates parking or not if you buy something at a store. I forgot to ask.

Awful and rude service attitude. I forgot to sign my receipt and the lady yelled at me “Did you sign your receipt?” loudly. Also, the staffs there are reluctant to serve the customer and no instructions when ordering. Won’t come to this place again.

Paid $18 for a large bowl. They wanted to charge me an extra 75 cents to put it in a “super” size bowl. I just wanted it so I had room to mix the stuff together, otherwise it just falls everywhere. I also had to pay an extra $1 for some sauce. They barely put on enough without getting the extra size. Not to mention the crispy onions topping is $1 extra too. What a scam. Try one of the other places around State st. and save your money.
