Red Rock is one of my favorite bars downtown. Good live music on Friday's and good food. Bartenders are friendly also and so are the security. If you want to try out a good country style bar Red Rock is it.

I was physically assaulted by a security guard here this past Saturday (March 16th). Then of course, when the police came to watch the security cameras back they didn't have it on video because it was so far from the entrance that it was out of sight. The bouncer full on bull-rushed me while I was 15 yards from the entrance because I poked fun at his cowboy boots. I guarantee he will still be working there despite there being an investigation ongoing. I was not kicked out of the bar, nor was I trying to re-enter the bar. You cannot just full on truck people walking away from your bar because your ego was hurt. Whoever owns this place, be better. It was a larger African American wearing a cut off shirt (I guarantee he has done similar things to other people). Takes a special kind of clown to charge a drunk person who is walking the other direction and slam him to the pavement over chirping his boots.

Me and my girls (4 of us) were sitting at a booth minding our own business having our own fun until this man kept coming up and blocking us in the booth harassing us and refusing to leave. A bouncer eventually got involved and made US leave along with the man outside after we made it clear we were afraid of him and he was threatening us. Would give ZERO stars if possible. Not a safe space for women

Worst chicken tenders I've ever had in my life. How can you mess up chicken tenders!!??? You're a bar. Bull looks fun though. And it is a fun spot to hang out but definitely stay away from the tendies

They prefer dead bodies outside than waiting inside :). Even if I just came outside to pick something up :)

The bar is big and had enough bartenders to accommodate crowd. Live band and dance floor was awesome!

My friends and I have been to this bar many times throughout my college career and I always loved it. We had one experience that changed our minds, however. They wouldn't let my friends into the bar on New Years Eve, despite them buying tickets. I have never experienced such inconsiderate people. Every single time they said they would do something, they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I understand that customer service is difficult, but our experience was so incredibly horrible. I will never give my business here again.

We tried to go to Red Rock last night. The door guy attempted to charge us $20 per person to get in. I believe the cover charge is $5 or $10 at most. We left and don't plan to go back.

I didn't realize this was a "yee yee" bar, but the shot menu was delightful (I reccomend no. 66.)Only complaint is that we were there on a slow (Wednesday) night and after the bartender finished with us, she went and sat at the end of the bar on her phone. This was fine, until I was ready for another drink, and she wasn't paying attention. It took 5 minutes, but the other bartender finally noticed me. I could have just gone down to get someone's attention, but you should be minding your patrons. I don't care if you want to scroll and text while it's slow, but look up once in a while, please.

Food was mediocre at best. As were the drinks. If you bring a minor (before 7), they confiscate your ID until you leave. Not sure what that actually accomplish but it is undoubtedly annoying. Particularly because then when you go to leave there is a line to get your ID back. I don't think that we need a babysitter when going to a restaurant. Do we? Maybe they should escort folks to the bathroom to make sure that they wash their hands. That would actually be helpful.
