“Soup dumplings” should be taken off the menu. $9 for 6 tiny dumplings that are smaller than golf balls and don’t actually have soup in them.
On the wall, they have a picture of proper soup dumplings in a traditional steamer basket. We were very disappointed when we got served tiny dumplings on a disposable paper plate that looked nothing like the picture.
I'm pretty sure most of these high reviews are fake. I've had many kinds of udon and ramen. This was the worst udon soup I've ever had. The broth looks and tastes like they boiled some beef fat with absolutely no seasoning. I don't want to be mean but they really need to do better and it really wouldn't take much effort. Really wasted my time and money.
Came into Madison late and ordered online. Best noodles I've ever had. They tasted fresh and the meat and veggies were great too. Also ordered a chicken egg roll and it was delicious. I had wished I'd ordered a couple more!
Nice little spot for Asian food. Egg rolls were delicious and were the soup dumplings!
Had a nice meal at Ruyi. Never had hand pulled noodles and they were great. Really good texture. Got the spicy chicken and it brought some heat
Check them out for some tasty noodles.

The food was good, but I ordered pork buns and they were clearly the frozen microwave buns from the store.

Seafood hot pot was good. The broth is really nice. The food here might not be for everyone's taste. Some of my friends didnt like it, but I liked it.

I'm kind of confused by the ratings of this place. I'm not convinced it's deserving.
The decor is essentially non-existent, the place is fairly dirty and grimy, and the dishes come in plastic single-use containers even if you're eating in?
I got a dry noodle dish - The noodle with minced pork and soybean sauce, a house special. It was some of the most bland Chinese food I've ever had to be honest, all I tasted was salts, and it came to me lukewarm and stale tasting. Barely any meat either. Super weird experience.
If this is some of the best Chinese food Madison has to offer, then I'm quite concerned. Unless you really want to try it out, you're better off skipping this one.

Fabulous soup dumplings and hand pulled noodles. The roast duck is a winner. More of a takeaway than dine in. Perfect for lunch!
