Nah this ain't it. Only thing that was good was a rice and meat dish, everything else kinda just tasted like bland, overpriced meatloaf. Shoulda just gone to the mexican place next door.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The servers are so welcoming, the new decor inside is beautiful, and the food is packed with flavor and spices. Highly recommend!!

Silk road is a great place - ambience is good, food was great - the chicken and lamb were quite flavorful. Chhalaab ( buttermilk based drink, like indian chaas ) was my boyfriend’s favourite. I got the roasted peach salad - very good. Although, they were out of rice and hence we couldn’t get any rice dishes. That was a bummer, because I love rice. Also Kunefe was unavailable, probably because we came here at 9 pm. So, I hope next time we try all these dishes too!

A bit disappointed food. Ordered the lamb kebab and it was a very grease cut of meat. I order it well done (always risky I know) and came with the outside charcoal. The pear salad that I always ordered somehow today had chicken. A very greasy grill pieces of chicken and tons of feta cheese. Not at all a good lunch. To make matters a bit worse, the bill came with an xtra $1.44 with a title “convenience fee”. When I ask what was it for Jo got a reply that was for credit card payment. But it was already added to my final bill. Guess they assume The customer is using a card and they add it ahead of time. Not the best practice. Will be a while for us to make it there again.

Try this place! It is a pleasant surprise. Is in an old taco bell building, but they have made it a very cozy little restaurant with a great middle-Eastern vibe. The bread and appetizers were surprisingly good. Try one of the salads. The grilled peach one is amazing. The lamb on the lamb kebab was a little tough but still delicious. We will be back.

Beautiful textiles and pottery create a lovely atmosphere. Food is fantastic - the beet salad is especially creative and tasty. Loved eating here and will return again. Staff was great! Thank you.

Everything we ordered was wonderful. Roast lamb and Adana sausage were tender and flavorful. Baba ghanoush was also good and bread that came with it was warm and toasty. You can tell they take personal pride in their dishes. High quality food at a fair price.

Was driving through and stopped by. The atmosphere is very nicely decorated. It was very cold inside, people were wearing jackets at the tables and the indoor temperature wasn't at a comfortable setting for customers. We ordered hummus as an appetizer. It came with just one piece of bread for a whole bowl of hummus. We asked for an additional bread as we were two people, but the waiter seemed confused by the request for another piece of bread and wanted to charge for another order of hummus so we said nevermind. Then came the main courses. We ordered the Adana Kabab and the Tavuk Kabab. One small kabob skewer arrived. There was more meat on the Tavuk chicken platter than the Adana kabob beef platter (which cost more as well). I was not at all impressed at the portion sizes having been to many central asian restaurants in the Chicagoland area. I was used to paying that price for atleast two kabobs. The food itself was flavorful, well prepared, fresh and delicious, I just wished the portion sizes were better or the menu specified the quantity of skewers. Food is halal and there is a parking lot, they accept cash and card.

This is the second time we have come here with the family, the food was just as delicious as the first time, we are surprised that we haven't come back more often, the service was good, much better than the first time, very polite and they gladly explain if you don't know what a dish is made of and they give you recommendations, we loved the remodeling they did to the place, it was beautiful! Everything from the appetizers to the desserts were delicious combined with the ambiance 10/10
