I don't know why this place is not packed. The food was fantastic and quick. The service was great. I had the Tajik Pilaf and the Tajik Elixer tea. Both were great.

Ordered delivery via GrubHub and was incredibly disappointed. Ordered a kebab and a wrap, which are different prices, but received 2 meals that were neither of those yet exactly the same as each other. The peaches on the bruschetta were barely grilled and definitely canned (not fresh). The chicken itself was delicious and we liked the yogurt sauce, but the pita was store bought and tough. The rice was sweet. The greens were wilted. Will not be ordering again.

3.5 stars! Traveling thru the area and wanted something better than bar food. Silk did not disappoint. I tried the lamb and it was tender with lots of flavor. The hummus was solid and worth a try. You should certainly stop by for a good meal.

We ordered two meals: chicken kebabs and falafel platter. The chicken kebab plate was decent; meat was flavorful albeit dry. The tzatziki was delicious. The pita was dry and appeared store bought. The falafel was inedible: cold, dry, overcooked; clearly not fresh. To be clear, the falafel wrap was one of the daily specials, so I would expect better.
INSTEAD: go to The Mediterranean Joint on Willy St.

We had the burrata salad, chicken, beef and lamb kabobs and the peach bruschetta. Everything was delicious. The meat was especially tasty, so tender and flavorful. The Tajik Elixir Tea was excellent.

Had dinner here tonight for the first time and oh man, it was fantastic. The food was all great, and the owner (I think) who served us was so nice. When we ordered dessert, they had to make one fresh, which took a bit longer, but was soooo worth the wait! Will definitely be back.

Reason choosing this place boiled down to location & veg options. Feel that this place is new, so NC on atmosphere. Staff was a cook and one server. The food was plentiful, tasty, and delicious. Perhaps the spicing could be dialed up a bit otherwise felt it was really good and a lot of potential. All 5 of us enjoyed the meal and will definitely return.
Vegetarian options: All were very good
Dietary restrictions: The food is Afgan influenced, halal.

I tried the Kabuli Palov and it was delicious! The dish is somewhat different from other dishes, but I like it.
