Thanks for the sourdough donut.Couldn't possibly use the lough for anything but bread crumbs.Absolutely worst bakery in Madison, no wonder the restaurant closed. Kitchen manager has personality of a nasty little mean girl without the looks. Never going there again. They treat you like you owe them something, but you don't.

Their chocolate Babka is ridiculously delicious. We picked up a half loaf from the Monona Farmers market and it was gone in less than a day. It was so good I forgot to take a photo.

I want it to be better than it is. Have tried a baguette and challah. Our kid usually loves both but has liked neither of them from here. For $7 the challah was small, dry and missing the dense yet fluffy sweetness you want in a challah. It was salty. Wanted to rate it a 3 but maybe their other breads, sandwiches and food is better.

Their food is still excellent, but I'm always going to miss their previous sandwich offerings.

Strongly recommend the roast beef and butter buns

Stalzys is the best in the business. No more dine in unfortunately, but they do have the unequivocally best bread in town.

$8.50 for premade sandwich. Didn’t realize it was only half a sandwich until I was well on my way.

Paid $20.00 a pound for the pastrami, over half of which was fat and thus inedible.

Parking: Will not buy product here again

Pretends to be a jewish deli with pastrami and bialys but all the jewish fare was at least 2-3 days old. May be Kosher but definitely not delicious.
