Placed a mobile order at 11:27 AM for a cold brew with non-dairy sweet cream cold foam. The app estimated it would be ready in 4–8 minutes. I arrived at 11:42 — well after the expected time — only to be told it would be another 30 minutes until the drink was ready.

We’re traveling cross-country and didn’t have time to wait around. This was a major inconvenience for something that should’ve been quick and simple. I understand things get busy, but better communication and realistic prep times would have made a big difference.

Waited in line to use a coupon… just to be told that they don’t accept coupons. I’ve never been a Starbucks that’s denied this before.

Stopped by to do some work and caffeinate. Busy lobby but great customer service from the kind baristas (Shoutout Sam!). Just wish there was more comfortable seating options for me to linger longer at this location. All the hard wooden chairs meant the only comfy options were in the coldest corner with minimal space to do my work. Also- while the summer strawberry cake pop is flavorful its a sugar coma of strawberry poptart flavor. Even paired with plain coffee it's a bit too sweet for my taste.

Wish I got the names of the ladies working tonight because they were so kind when I called, ordered, hung out and left. Very nice place, will absolutely return

I genuinely stopped coming to this Starbucks after the service I’ve received. Unfortunately, this is the only place serving hot food in the area that is opened before 6am, besides McDonald’s.
As a former barista, I think I have a pretty good idea of how the job is supposed to work. However, if my old shift manager saw how this place was run, she would have a panic attack.
The individuals that work there are extremely slow, do not get started on mobile orders until you arrive. This is at 6am. I’d pull up to the window, and instead of working they are messing around. I could understand if they were busy, but there is genuinely no one in line when I would come.
1/3 of the time the drink is made incorrectly, with baristas taking shortcuts. Like I said, I could justify it if it was busy, but there is no one in line 95% of the time.
Typically when you make a shaken iced espresso, you pull the shots and then place it into the shaker. Then, you are meant to give it 10-20 vigorous shakes. The individuals who work at this location, rather, place the espresso in the cup with ice, swirl it around, and hand it off.
Furthermore, what really set me off, was when one of the baristas kept referring to me, a grown woman, as “friend”. This was in the context of telling me not to order 4 long shots if I wanted anything extra, for it fills the cup.
The amount of times I have made the same exact drink for myself as a barista, for other customers, is uncountable. The only way this would not be possible is if the barista did not put enough ice in the shaker, did not shake said shaker enough, or poured it directly into the cup.
I explained this to the worker, and I appreciated her trying to rectify this with me by saying they could remake it, but I had to go, for I work at 5:30 in the morning.
This location needs stronger leads — (aka Stephanie) and re-training in customer connection. There is never an instance a barista should be calling a customer, “friend”, in the context I was being approached.

They do not greet customers, and they will have you standing there and walk right past you and do not acknowledge you until you speak up and say something. The least you can do is make customers feel as if we are welcomed and valued.

The staff is very friendly & remembers me. It makes me feel good that they know my order….and I don’t even know why, lol. They are all great people.

Stopped in today on a Saturday at lunch time and the two ladies working ROCKED!! They were slammed with mobile orders, drive thru, walk-Ins. Even tho they were crazy busy they greeted every single customer!! Thank you it was refreshing to have that customer experience, these days you can enter any establishment no matter if it’s food, retail anywhere and stand there and never get acknowledged! That’s all it takes for me to be patient for a long time is a simple “ hello we will get to you as soon as we can”! So great service today!!!

They never have the sandwich I want in stock, it's multiple days they say they don't have the sandwich. They must have some young kid making the orders for the store or something. Because they never order enough sandwiches. They should maybe count each day how many sandwiches they sell a week and order that many for the following week or order more than what they sell in a week. Especially the one on east Washington ave here in Madison.

Poetic Disaster

This location is one of my favorites. My drink taste so much better here.

Dietary restrictions: They have soy, oat, and almond milk and a lot of meat free sandwiches.

I'm here from out of town and this is the first REALLY good experience I've ever had at a Starbucks! I've traveled a ton so I've been to LOTS of different Starbucks stores, but this one is easily the best I've ever been to. There were at Least 12 cars in the drive through, so I thought it was going to take a half hour to get our drinks because Starbucks is usually pretty slow where I live, but we were at the window for our turn to get our order in 8 minutes. That's LESS than a minute per transaction!! The woman running the drive through was very kind and personable, while also being fast and efficient. I wish the Starbucks' where I live were as fantastic as this one was!! Highly highly recommend!
