My husband suggested we eat here and grab a beer while he picks up his packet for a triathlon. The staff members were very friendly, helpful, and absolutely lovely. My husband, two kids, and I enjoyed the food, outdoor atmosphere, and employees. I strongly recommend this place for any age!! The beer I ordered was fresh and delicious, too. I hope to return soon :)
Totchos (Tater Tot Nachos) with Chorizo.
Good wings and beer! Definitely recommend the house made ranch dressing
Great beer and the taps change frequently - there’s something new every time we visit.
Love the chicken tenders and the “totchos” are a guilty pleasure.
The wings were so good! And excellent beer variety.
This is a great place for a bite to eat and tap beers. Love that they have gluten free food options. The only thing that was unsatisfactory is that I couldn't use the pub pass on anything but their own brewed beer, which is understandable but it would have been nice for them to make an exception due to an allergy. Last time we were here we had totchos and they were fabulous. This time we both had chicken and it was also great!
Excellent craft beer and amazing wings!
Starkweather might fair weather. the beer was so-so...typical madison small brewery beer. Food was lackluster at best. The 13.50 8 wings or drumsticks were confusing with the rubs (mesquite was very salty) and sauces...add on $3,50 worth of fries. then a soft pretzel and somehow with 2 beers and 2 lemonades I got to $47 after tip.... IDK....but not impressed. Good luck if you go! Once saving grace was Jenga and Connect 4 for the kids.
So surprising that this place is only a few years old. EXCELLENT food — hubby says their chicken wings are the best in Madison; I love the Totchos! Always an interesting selection of beers, lots of different styles. Nancy runs special events and there’s always something fun going on. Last night was Beer & Chocolate Pairing with Gail Ambrosius Chocolates. The vibe is super friendly. Always someone interesting to talk to!
Fantastic new brewery! Would definitely recommend!

Great wings and unique selection of crafted beer. Variety of dry rubs for wings and sauces. Loved the Inner Circle Thomas dunkleweizan and 4 Jacks Belgian quad. Great price point for quality. Helpful bartenders.
Been meaning to go here for a while and had the chance to stop by with the family recently. They have a nice selection of tasty taps, and their space is quite large on the inside which took us by surprise. They also have a wider selection of food options compared with other breweries which was nice.
Service could have been better and more organized as the bartender I ordered from seemed a bit overwhelmed and not in the best mood during our visit. Our food was also brought out without plates, utensils, or any napkins. Regardless, we’ll definitely put this on our list to visit again.
Great service. Great food. Great beer!! We will be back
I have to say this is one the places you will want to hang in this area. First off their beer selection is amazing! I was only able to try a couple which their IPA/Sour was my favorite as they have a variety of selections!
I mainly came here for the wings, and I would say the wings are slightly above average. Just like their beers they have a great number of flavors you can choose from and not too overwhelming. The beers are also served starting at 5oz!
We ordered 1 dry-rub recommended by staff which was the mesquite BBQ, and 3 house-made sauces (Jalapeño Ranch, Honey Habanero Buffalo, and Pineapple Teriyaki.)
They were all good, although my favorite was the Honey Habanero Buffalo. I’m curious, I feel as though I wonder if we should have ordered the wings with a particular dry-rub and then a few sauces on the side for dipping? You can go wrong with what you do either way!
If you’re in the area certainly check them out and their event calendar!
Fun beers, rotated regularly. Meet the brewers/owners as they are there often. Solid food choices. Fun events (trivia, euchre, etc).
