The Old fashioned was definitely the hands down favorite at $9 with tasty Luxardo cherries, brandy, orange and bitters. This is available sweet or sour, and recommend sweet as the staff pours with a heavy hand. The pair of Day Drink Transfusions are exclusive at State Street Brats. This canned beverage is a spirited cocktail made with vodka, grape juice, and ginger ale, with lime. At 2 for $12 you can't go wrong at State Street Brats on a Friday night.

Was our go to every time we went up. Sad.
Great atmosphere and we even take our 3 boys for pre games. Just really frustrating they changed from the square curds.

Our company booked the State Street Brats truck Food Truck-style for our company on two separate occasions. In both instances, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. To our detriment, we did not provide enough sales (75ish customers over two hours) for them to come back for a third visit, but we would absolutely have them back if they'd want to!
They changed the curds, terrible, now. Wish they would change back. Too much breading, not enough cheese, bland flavor.

Blah food. We tried bratwurst, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich and fries. Unfortunately, the best thing was the waffle fries. I also had an iced tea as this was an early lunch. The tea was heavy on ice heavy on water and very light on tea.

Great place to take anyone visiting Madison! They have all of the must-haves for Wisconsin as well as something for vegans and vegetarians. There is no parking as it is located on a street designed to be walked on. Indoor and outdoor seating with a lot of charm.
