I discovered this place walking down towards state street. I ordered the chicken adobo and it was game changing! The dishes are excellent as I typically get the arroz con pollo with avocado. The line goes fast and the people who run it are great, friendly people. On top of the excellent food, the sauces they provide (ranging from mild to hot) are to die for. The yellow one is my personal favorite but I recommend trying all of them to get the full experience. This place is an absolute gem that everyone in the area should try at least once!

Easily the best 5 star meals I've ever had and hope to continue to have. If I ever leave Madison, I will forever miss this food cart! My favorites are the arroz con Pollo and the chicken Adobo. You can't forget the sauce with the meal, it's the icing on the cake! It's to die for.The only downside is this food cart operates only from 11 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday, not 2:30 pm like their website stated. Make sure you go before then if you want to be able to indulge in their delicious food! Another sad note is the location. Wished they had their own restaurant because Im sure they'll easily have support from customers!

Surco Peruvian Food cart is one of my favorite food cart in Madison! All of their items are delicious! Arroz con Pollo, Chili Chicken, everything! AND their sauces are now available for sale! Mild, medium and hot are available. I can't do the hot, but it's soooo good!
Incredible. They even have their own sauce from the Aji pepper which is hard to get in the US! Been to Peru many times and can say this is a great representation of Peruvian food!.(Except there is no Guinea pig ????)
