This is the best Sichuan Chinese food I've had in downtown Madison! They have specialty dishes to cater to more adventurous eaters while still providing the Chinese-American dishes that we all know and love. I typically go for their specials and order everything extra spicy. They can deliver the heat.My favorite dish is the eggplant in garlic sauce.

Incredible food, kind staff, big menu, too. Love getting take-out from here.

I was going to Poke Poke for lunch but they can't get anyone to work for them so I went here. The women who was likely the owner was very nice. Food was okay. Huge menu which is good for some people but I prefer restaurants that have a couple dishes that are consistent. I got the lunch special that came with this side that tasted horrible but they gave me a good amount of food for $11 ($10 with a tip).

You don't need to order anything from this place but one thing. The crab leg boil. Best I've ever had and I've had plenty. You don't even need nothing else from there. Trust me on this. Get a booth. Order and enjoy.

This place is awesome!!! The menu is huge! There’s actually a huge Chinese menu including a hot pot menu and a Cajun seafood boil menu! This is a real Chinese restaurant with much more than just the typical American Chinese food staples. I had a couple dishes off the Chinese menu and the food was delicious! Looking forward to try more of that menu!

Awesome food! We ordered takeout and the restaurant was out of one dish. They offered to replace it and threw in a bonus Sesame chicken! The green beans, Sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, general two's, and chicken lo mein were all fantastic.

Excellent Szechuan shrimp with real Szechuan peppers! It's actually two restaurants in one here, the seafood place and this one. Former home of the late great infamous Pho King Good.

Decided to give it a try with the intention of having seafood... Well we got sidetracked and lured in by the Szechuan choices... Both dishes were SO FLAVORFUL! We had 1. Fish flavored shredded pork and 2. Poached sliced beef in hot chili sauce.Both were amazing in their own right. I ordered a 5/10 on the spicy level and still found it plenty spicy. I could feel my tongue getting tingly from the Szechuan peppercorns.We also had plum wine which was good.Our server was so friendly and helpful. We were asking her for recommendations and favorites and she was excited to help.Inside was clean with a nice atmosphere.Can't wait to try more!

Been looking around Madison for a true Szechaun restaurant and stumbled across this place. Excellent service and truly amazing cuisine. Highly recommend and ask for the chicken with chili oil with extra Sichuan peppercorn. Delish!

Great location and decent value. But the food is too Americanized for their own good. They can’t make wontons like Wah Kee used to.

It's been a long time since I had oriental food.

Best food I’ve ever had. I ordered dumplings with sweet and sour chicken and they were the best. Service was very nice and restaurant is beautiful. Portions are huge. Will definitely be back!

Delicious! I had this place on my list already but never found time to drive out to the west side. I am thrilled that they have moved to Willy st! So much closer for me. Before coming here, I hadn’t found a favorite Szechuan restaurant in Madison yet, so I normally ate Szechuan cuisine when I went to Chicago.This is now my favorite Szechuan restaurant! We ordered the egg drop soup, Sichuan chicken and spicy string beans. We also got egg rolls. Everything was delicious, tasted fresh, and was just perfection— even down to the way the rice was cooked. We were also given enough food for seconds tomorrow! We will make this part of our regular restaurant rotation for sure! I am interested in trying the other dishes on the expansive menu.The staff member who helped us was extremely nice and helpful. Staff were all wearing masks and the restaurant seemed very COVID safe (we got take out, but noticed there were a couple tables of people dining indoors and they were all spaced safely).
