Really tasty, really fast, nice lunch price. Just wish it had a vegetable. Besides that.....10/10

I recently came here after school ended on the 11th, and they’re super kind! Ended up eating a catering at the restaurant, my only little issue is that the food doesn’t quite stand out so much, but otherwise it’s amazing!!! Definitely recommend.

I waffled between getting the lunch or regular portion of pad thai and opted for the latter since I figured I could get a second meal out of it. And yeah, they really pack those noddles in there, making it a pretty dense take-out box. Had to go digging for some of the garnish but it was pretty good and reheated well.

I have two sons in UW Madison and make an excuse to visit them on weekends just so I can go to this restaurant! Personally I believe this is the best Thai food in Madison. I get the spicy Mongolian chicken and it's delicious every time. It's sad to see some people give one star because of a menu pricing issue or another person saying they don't have good Chinese food when it's a Thai restaurant.

Very disappointing when you order a large fried rice to be spicy and it even says it on the receipt and yet it’s not at all. Also, no sweet sauce with the spring rolls. Fried rice is decent but not spicy at all when asked. Service seems to have declined

Brought my family here. Ordered off a screen. After you finished bring your plates to a shelf. Ordered two orders of Pho. Serving portions were great, but after eating me and my other felt alot of oil, felt weird. Brought some home and let it sit for the night. Great people but way to much oil in the food.

First time at Tai's and all my familiy loved it! The food is the main star here, like it should be. Just wanted to point out that don't expect a restaurant style of service, is mostly order in the counter and get everything yourself which is fine and if it helps with keeping cost down and food quality great, go right ahead! We tried the Singapore Chicken Dinner Special, Sesame Chicken and Sweet& Sour Chicken, everything was amazing. We also ordered the Cocount Boba Tea and Tai Boba Tea, the best I've had in Madison so far! Don't sleep on Tai's, oh and I have to mention how quick the food is prepared! in around 5 minutes we all had our meals after we ordered, wow! Also I would suggest ordering in the counter instead of the machine, we took a bit longer in the machine because everything is separated by category which can be a little confusing. Highly recommended!

Amazing pad thai. Portion massive. I could eat the whole thing, enter a food coma, and die happy. Pho beef noodle soup very good. Egg rolls great. Price great, especially considering the large portions. This is a must stop for thai and chinese food.

I love this place! Great portion sizes for reasonable prices, especially if you pay with cash. Perfect if you want a classic sesame or orange chicken. I also really enjoy their tofu options (delicious AND vegan!). It’s really great and fast takeout Chinese food, and the staff there are always friendly.
Side note: I also adore that it’s right next to a bookstore — I can walk in, place an order, and kill 15-20 minutes browsing books next door.

The staff is very nice and welcoming. The food is delicious and savory Anyone who says otherwise is too critical saying this like “ too sweet “ or “ not spicy”. The fried rice is sublime and the lo-mein noddles are to die for. The restroom is nice and clean and smells nice. The only con is that it’s a little expensive but the food is worth it.

This place has prices online from 4 years ago. Everything is about 4 dollars more than their menu online and I've told them this and they do nothing. Apart from that I asked the counter woman what her fave dish was. She said the Braised Beef so I ordered it. What terrible food! More than half the meal was inedible pieces of fat!!! I think about 8 pieces of the meat and potatoes were solid gristle and I spit them out. This dish is 18 dollars. What horrible cooking..imagine bad meat and potatoes in a spicy sauce, which doesn't go at all. They should have a section of the menu that says Crime...we rip you off. Never again.

The food was delicious! Many vegan options. The portions were proportional to the great prices. We dined in, but we had to pick up our food at the counter and clean up our dirty dishes. It is not full service, but the quality of the food makes it worth it!

Vegetarian options: Many tofu dishes. Fried rice did not have eggs. Also had vegetarian appetizers.

Singapore noodles were like mush -- broken pieces, disappointing. We walked in to order carryout & it was done in just a few minutes, leading us to like they used leftover noodles from noon or maybe the whole thing was leftover. Throwing most of it out.
