Taiwan Little Eats has a great location on State Street. The atmosphere is cute and cozy - but unfortunately the food did not match the vibe for us. I ordered braised pork over rice noodles and my husband had the same over white rice. They are the same price but his came with a lot more veg and mine just came with carrots. I did enjoy the spinach on the side, but wasn’t a fan of the dish itself. The pork was very fatty and sugary. The egg was rubbery. I was hoping for higher quality with the price of almost $20/person. There is also no service - you order on a screen and pick up from a window. Unfortunately would not recommend this place.

Really cool spot with delicious food. I had the curry special with sweet potato fries, which were very tasty and had a unique taste.

The store environment is not good, it is in disrepair and many areas are filled with spider webs and obviously not cleaned. The braised eggs have turned into iron eggs over time, the salty crispy chicken is too hard and tasteless, and the oolong milk tea obviously uses creamer and has no tea flavor, which is really not good.

See tons of spider web on ceiling and you can see the paint is fading. The cleanness of the restaurant needed to be improved.
About the food, the taste might be Taiwanese flavor but it still have some problems, for example the popcorn chicken is overcooked that it is dry and tough, hard to bite. And the milk tea is horrible that you cannot feel the scent of tea but strong flavor of creamer.

A cute little shop with exquisite displays and many Taiwanese souvenirs. The food portions are not big, which is perfect for experiencing Taiwanese flavor. However, the salted crispy chicken is not as flavorful as the nine-story pagoda.

Dietary restrictions: Many Taiwanese snacks: bowl cakes, sausages...

Great lunch rice bowl deal. Had the chicken in ginger scallion oil and their insanely good chili oil

Great little place on State Street. It was our first time having Taiwanese food. I really enjoyed my pork and rice bowl. Very tender and tasty!

Friends keep telling me food is too salty, I disagree. It was tasty, just wish there was a little more rice! Vegetables were fresh and pork was rich in flavour.

It’s rare to see such “Taiwanese” food here
You can come here to eat often in the future?

The food is very delicious and the price is very reasonable. The boss 07 is also very kind. Even if the restaurant is very busy, he will still chat with us. We are very grateful that we can still eat hometown-style food in Madison!
