I just moved here from LA. I was desperate for good Mexican food and was coming upshort. The Mex food I was finding was OK but not great. Then I found TG. Terrific food. The Mole is excellent; not sweet just excellent! Moles are not supposed to be sweet. Everyone that I have taken there is very impressed. Try it!

Easily the best Mexican restaurant in all of Dane County. I've got Taqueria Guadalajara on speed dial and each time I call they are ready to crank out my order for pick up. The al pastor chimichangas are top tier and go especially well with a cup of horchata. Though I've not dined in at the restaurant, I can assure you that if the take out is amazing, it can only be better by being served in the restaurant. At the time of pick up, employees are always hard at work but very attentive to every customer and making sure everyone is taken care of! Hopefully soon I'll have a picture of the chimichangas to supplement this review.

I loved the waitress. She had no small talk and loads of standard patronage like, "I'm so and so and I'll be taking care of you." I don't mind either personality and it was a treat to experience the straightforward service.

I ordered a carne asada burrito without the addition of the rice and beans. I tried to ask the hostess if that comes on the side or in the burrito and as it comes on the side, I was not interested. I prefer my ride and beans IN the burrito.The burrito was made quickly, but I was unfortunately not satisfied with the taste. The carne was pretty flavorless and the burrito was only filled with just lettuce and carne. I didn't taste any cheese or any other fillings in it (but I may be wrong). As a whole, the flavor of the burrito reminded me of a taco I'd get at taco bell or jack in the box.When I first ordered, I did ask the hostess for a recommendation and she recommended me a dish that wasn't the burrito- it may have been on me for ordering the wrong thing. But ultimately, I would not come here again given the flavor/taste of what I ordered.

Such a great place for tacos!! I've never dined in but the take out is super quick and affordable. Staff are always super busy but also always super kind! If you can't reach them by phone they are probably swamped so just stop by!Parking: There are only so many spaces right in front of the building but they are free for up to 2 hours.
