Hit or miss. Sometimes they might add double the salt. The rice was undercooked the last couple of times or it was probably old rice reheated.

We tried garlic, aloo, and spinach naans. All were very good, but garlic naan stood out. Malai Kofta is scrumptious with the right mix of spices. Paneer Bhuna wasn't what I expected, but nothing too bad. It was a mix of stir-fried veggies with paneer blocks in gravy.
Overall, it's a good place to have Indian food near the university. I was surprised by its lack of popularity, so I'd call it underrated.

The chef forgot to put any salt in my dish. When I informed the waiter, he said he will let the chef know. That was the end of it. Also ordered a mild dish, and the dish was insanely spicy.

Very good food, we are a punjabi family, this is a great Punjabi restaurant, great staff, great food. I think if your looking for good indian food in Madison, must visit.

Ordered delivery and they gave me day old (or maybe 2 day old) Naan. You would think at the very least they would take it off the bill but they charged full price for it.
My dad and I ordered delivery through East Street. Full disclosure-my dad loves Indian food and I feel so so. He ordered an entree and I got some appetizers to share.
The food was very good. My dad loved every bite. Plus even when liked the appetizers I got which was a win in my book since he doesn’t like finger food.

Great food, large menu selection, and excellent service. The owners have Punjabi roots, so I love getting the great dhaba classics like Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) and tarka daal.
Vegetarian options: Indian cuisine has a rich and storied tradition of vegetarian cooking, and you can't miss their spinach paneer and vegarian appetizer platter!
