After trying their food at Taste of Madison, we had to go. Got lucky going early on a Saturday night when they weren't too busy. Food and service was fantastic. Be sure to try their take on cheese curds, done tempura-style on a stick.

Awesome place on the square for sushi, hot plates, and drinks. Clean and fun restaurant paired with great service makes it a fun place for lunch and dinner!

The bar tenders are very friendly and make good drinks. But last night 08/30 the taste after party w DJ chamo (think I spelled this correct) he was nice but he did not play a variety of music. It was mostly Latin music which is fine but the flyer said hip hop too 40 etc and the crowd was mixed. When he played hip hop he mixed it w Latin music. As far as I know the bar has a Latin night so other nights need to play other genre of music. This has happened before we thought we was coming to hear hip hop and r&b and mix but end up Latin music we got our money back. Please if you advertise you going play hip Hop and r&b please play more than a few seconds and or a few songs. Bar has a great setup though and bathrooms clean.

Really good food, especially the ramen. The disinterest of the staff is strangely compelling. But I don't appreciate a 3% administration fee tacked on to my bill.

Came here during happy hour a few weeks ago when Concerts on the Square was happening and had a great time. While it wasn’t very busy when I first arrived, it quickly became packed. Despite how slammed they got, it was clear there was a good system in place as all of the appetizers and drinks that I ordered came out quickly. Everything tasted fresh, and there’s a variety of options to choose from.

Special shout out to Tandra who was apparently the only bartender working at the time. I’ve never seen someone manage the blistering pace of drink orders coming in from both the main dining room and the full bar as efficiently as her. My experience that day made me want to come here more often.

Food: I ordered tonkotsu ramen, 2 tuna nigiri, and unsweet tea. The tonkotsu ramen broth was tasty, but the ramen was too al dente. The pork chashu had good flavor, but half of the pieces were crunchy like beef jerky. The sushi rice was hard like the rice had been padded earlier in the day and placed in the fridge. Crunchy sushi is ridiculous.

Service: I was served unsweet tea, but it came out of a fountain machine (instead of serving fresh brewed tea). Rather than waste it, I drank it and switched to diet coke. I noticed afterward that I was charged $3.00 for the tea and another $3.00 for the diet coke. I was told that I can't get a refill of a different beverage. This logic might apply to the tea if it was freshly brewed, but what I did was basically say I don't like soda A please give me soda B. You would charge me twice for that too? Fix your stupid logic.

Atmosphere: Bar was okay but the number of chairs they had caused someone to get sat right next to me rubbing elbows. I moved down and it wasn't an issue in the end.

Food is very bland for the price. Unfortunately don’t recommend with other sushi places near by tasting better.

Not horrible. The “large plate” I got was the curry chicken. I’d probably call it a small to mid size. The rice wasn’t enough for the chicken and I had to order more food since it wasn’t enough. Chicken and flavor was good though. The buns with meat could have been maybe $2 cheaper for the quantity of it. I know those buns don’t cost much. But I get it. I’m sure rent isn’t cheap on the square. 3rd time here. It’s one of those places you come once in a while.

If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, dine here.

The service was impeccable! Our server was friendly and helpful in choosing our meal.

The food temperature was perfect, and the taste, even better.

Atmosphere decor was pleasant to the eye. The outside seating area looked inviting.

Highly recommend this restaurant when you're in the area.
