I’m staying in the Hilton for work and it’s currently 21 degrees outside so naturally I was between Door Dash or The Audrey. Saw the reviews, ignored them and decided to form my own opinion. The cheese curds were mediocre and the Audrey burger was obnoxiously dry and bitter from the chard. I got onion rings instead of fries and they put some kind of cajun seasoning on them that was overly salty. I asked for a side of grilled shrimp which ended up being the best thing I ordered. Maybe I didn’t order the right things but considering the other reviews, there may not be a right thing to order here. If I were upper management I would seriously consider revising the menu or maybe tweaking the recipes or even carefully looking at how the food is being prepared. I don’t know what the underlying issue is but I spent $50 on a meal I didn’t enjoy. Lastly, this does not reflect on the staff members I encountered, everyone was very pleasant.

Pulled in from a five hour drive a couple minutes before 11:00 and the bartender would not serve a drink because she wanted to close at 11:00. No one wants to work nowadays. Disappointing.

I had the peach chicken and it was delicious. The glaze wasn't overpowering, the rose was amazing, the potatoes and green beans were the perfect side to pair with the chicken. The music was low and relaxing and the decor was beautiful. Doordash had a wait of an hour to get food and I am glad they did. This meal was perfect after a day of driving.

I was promptly greeted by the host, and the server Chas was attentive and helpful! Garden pasta was yummy, maybe the noodles a bit overcooked but that did not ruin it for me at all. I love the pesto, and the squash was perfectly cooked crisp-tender. I also had an Asian Pear Martini, which was unique and tasty. I would return here if I come stay at the Hilton again!

Works for Amex Business Platinum credit.
Don't get the burgers, they're way too oily but the garden pasta is good.
First, there was ONE waiter working. With as SLOW as he is, they need another person even though it was NOT busy. Also, the body odor from him was sickening, noticeable and very offensive. I started to leave, but I was starved and was too lazy to go out b/c it was like 55 degrees.
I ordered a hot tea, and ordered. There were ONLY a few folks in the place. I party of six that left shortly after I arrived, and another party of like five and then me. It took Sohail 10-15 minutes to bring me a SPOON for the honey for my tea. He gave me a stir stick and looked puzzled as to why I wanted a spoon.
But I digress. I had high hopes for my steak. It had some kind of sauce on it, not steak sauce, but I’m thinking it’s because of all the FAT in the steak. As you can see from the pictures, a good amount of the steak was FAT.
The ambiance was quiet. Would I come back? Nope. Do I recommend? Sure try it, just don’t order the steak.
This is inside of the Hilton nestled in the heart of downtown not too far from the Capital building. If ever in the area, and you come here…please let me know your thoughts.

I’ve been to this place in the past with no issue but this time around, the only thing that was good was the whiskey. It started with a literal 10 minute wait at the hostess stand until the chef came out and seated me. He brought me water and a menu and said the waitress would be with me shortly as soon as he could find her. 10 minutes went by and she finally came to the table complaining about how she was pulling double duty at the bar. I said no problem and ordered a double whiskey on the rocks and before she could walk away I ordered my food. I ordered a Cesar side salad and the steak with seasonal vegetable. The salad came out fairly quick but was very overdressed which made me wish I got the dressing on the side. The steak came out a while later and was disappointing to say the least. It was a New York strip and was ordered medium. It came out swimming in a pool of greasy water and was very gray inside, not at all medium, it had absolutely zero flavor, almost tasted like it had been boiled and then seared. The broccolini was mushy with zero crisp to it at all and again, zero seasoning. I ate maybe 3 bites of steak and none of the broccolini. I ended up finishing my whiskey, paid the check and left. I won’t be back and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

It is not the best, but it is good if you are staying at Hilton.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner... All decent and reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. The service is typically slow due to limited staff, but good experience overall.
Good food with nice people

Over priced and overall not worth the money. Took over an hour and a half for breakfast with less than half of the restaurant full.
Absolute 🔥🔥🔥 I live 2 hours away and I will be back with friends and family.
Very delicious food. The price was on the expensive side but maybe because it was valentines day 🤔.
Really good drinks and cheese curds. Frozen burgers and ok steak. Very cold fries
I was attending an event in downtown Madison and despite the plethora of great food options around town , our group wanted to stay in the hotel for dinner after having drinks at the bar .
I was expecting better from the food especially as I have eaten at numerous Hilton restaurants around the country.
The restaurant is called Audrey Kitchen and it is adjacent to the bar . Bar and bartender by the way was fun and good drinks !
I chose what I thought was a cold salad bowl and added a seared Salmon as an extra topping. The grain bowl consisted of quinoa , sweet potatoes and a spiced version chickpeas that was warm (or warmed up) and a bit of a “blob” . Salmon was okay but definitely well overcooked.
I have to give kudos to the great service as the waitress was very nice and helpful.
Overall fairly mediocre experience when it comes to the food.
