Always a fun place to go. Love the atmosphere and staff.

Nice outdoor location that is family friendly, and, as others mentioned, a good alternative to the Memorial Union Terrace.

My understanding is that they do require ID from everyone in your party unless accompanied by an adult. This is a fairly common blanket policy to avoid employees making invalid judgment calls. Just something to be aware of beforehand.

Seriously a true gem of the east side. This place is unique in Madison in that there aren't many places to have a beer on the lake aside from the Terrace. You might have to park across the street when it's busy, but the food options are great (limited, but great), the beer options are ample and quality, and the prices are super reasonable.

Good be a full '5' review if there were more food choices. With that being said, this was a nice park with plenty of picnic table seats, small foods and beverages. Beautiful setting with lovely trees, the lake, volleyball, sand pit and a parking lot. Well worth the visit.

Kid-friendliness: Nice park with a sand lot and plenty of places to run around (cornhole too)

We visited Madison for the weekend and heard a lot of hype about the Curd Girl food truck, so we decided to check it out at the farmers market on Saturday. Honestly, it just didn’t live up to the expectations. The cheese curds were good, but they weren’t crispy, which was pretty disappointing. I mean, they give you a decent amount for the price, but it just wasn’t what I was hoping for.

With all the hype, I expected something better. I’m not sure what the big fuss is about, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They’re usually at the farmers market all summer long, but I don’t think I’d get them again. Next time I’m in Madison, I’ll probably try cheese curds from somewhere else.

Nice to have an option that is sort of a hybrid between a city park and your own backyard, if you had a beer garden in your backyard! Love being able to bring our own food as well as having a few options available on site.

Great location. Fun spot to go with young kids. Main complaint is the beer selection can be unnecessarily unique. Wait lines are long. Food options limited but you can bring your own food in. With small changes this place could be excellent

Great atmosphere and good drinks. I am not a beer drinker so I appreciate them having a hard seltzer on tap!

Lines too long at peak times, I don't recommend opening a tab at peak times because they make you wait in line to close it. Beer selection excellent. Hit and miss on weekend's for live music ( maybe they don't do that anymore it seems like a few years ago there was always live music here). Great place to bring kids, lots of stuff for them to do and play withand on (gaga ball pit, sandbox, jenga, volleyball type stuff).
