Loved the place. The pups were living their best life and everyone there was smiles. The food truck they had the day I was there was great! Curry fries were killer.

The Boneyard is my new favorite local hangout. I do not have a dog but I greatly enjoy going to The Boneyard and watching the dogs run around inside the fenced in area while sipping on a cold one. Always fun seeing the different types of dogs and how they interact. I appreciate that you do not need to have a dog to stop in!Terrific craft beer selection as well as many domestics, seltzers and ciders; also pull tabs and darts. Super friendly bartenders and staff, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Had Paddy's Patties food truck on site for the winter which was worked out very well since their smashburgers are top notch. Have other rotating food trucks as well as live music on some Saturdays. Highly recommend stopping in even if you don't have a dog! Awesome place!

My dogs are were getting a mini groom with nail trimming for the first time with Jossalin 1/23/2024. When I walked in she had already had a bad attitude about my dogs when I asked how were they. I figured she just tired and just look the other way even though my dogs hair were falling off as if they weren’t even brushed.( i had to shake off the hair while walking out) I still tipped her $25 for her time thinking she loves and care for the dogs that comes in to get groom like all pet lovers. When we got in the car I notice their nails were trimmed unevenly, some were not trim. (See the attached pictures) however she had miss trimming ONE nail completely. I asked if I can bring my one dog whose ONE nail was not trim to get it down despite how the rest of the nails were trimmed.* Referring to the picture *They were all uneven, I was told she try to grind down the nails but there were no trace of the Dremel being my dogs were blamed for being Shibas. She stated that she didn’t want to force them into doing something that they didn’t like yet she continued to trimmed their nails instead of notifying us that she’s unable to trimmed their nails until I was charged and I tipped $25 cash on top of the $142.43.On top of that her first responds was blaming my dogs are their behavior, and how she’s the only one there and there needs to be staff to hold them down etc which is opposite of her telling me she’s doesn’t want to force the trimming. She also stated that she grind the nail down, there were not trace of grinding being done. She Blamed my dogs for having too much furr, behavior, and being Shibas. At this point I didn’t want to bring my dogs back to even get the one nail trim cause I was afraid of what she will do to them.So I ask for a refund of the nail trimming/tip that was given total $70. She told me she will not refund because of how my dogs behaved and how hairy they were. I told her don’t mind paying for for the bath just not the nail trim cause it was not done properly. On top of that I felt like I was being discriminated, and my dogs were too. So I asked for my $25 tip back because that could go to someone who actually cares and do the job properly. Our dogs go in and get groom and we trust that the groomer will be experience and handle them with care since we can’t sit and watch what they’re doing. Trusting Jossalin to take care of our furr babies was a mistake for me. I would’ve appreciate the honesty instead of excuses( how they’re Shibas, hairy and etc.)Today is 1/25/2024 and still have not heard from the groomer or the Boneyard team towards this situation. I did sent the email, no responds.

Put any worries about a chaotic environment to rest when visiting The Boneyard Dog Park. This delightful park offers a joyous and welcoming atmosphere for both pets and pet owners. As someone who tends to be more reserved, I found the interactions with others easy and genuinely inviting. The experience was so enjoyable that I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit.Vegetarian options: They have a smash burger that’s beyond meat.

Have been to this venue for a painting class thru Wine & Design, and while I don't have a dog myself, would totally enjoy sitting here for a drink. Very clean, relaxed & friendly atmosphere. They now have food truck access from within the bar. Owners very kind and inviting. Great murals, too!

This could be the best beer garden in Madison if it weren’t for all the dogs. I tried to come here for a beer once, and they encouraged me to bring a dog next time. I don’t have a dog, but would drive 100 miles to drink a beer near a food cart on a picnic table in yard. Easy concept, but this is the only one in Madison.

This place is great if you have dogs, big homie had more fun here than he has had in a while. Thanks for creating a cool dog bar in Madison

I love this place. Anywhere that I can visit with dogs and get a drink is aces with me. Drinks are a little expensive but they have a great beer menu. Service is pretty good. Small place and can get overcrowded quickly but worth it. Trivia night is fun.

We have been coming here for over a year with our dog. We like it. Nice place to have a beer and watch your dog play with other dogs. Yesterday while sitting in a chair watching the dogs play ,I heard dogs fighting behind me. I got out of my chair and turned around and saw a man kicking a dog repeatedly in the ribs that was fighting with other dogs. It was not my dog, but no way, I wasn't going to not try to stop the kicking of the dog. I yelled " Don't kick the Dog"!!!He yelled your dog is hurting my dog !Then he started yelling at me all sorts of really ugly things. I then said , again you don't kick dogs! Finally the owner of the Boneyard came over listened to him say my dog was hurting his dog. ( it wasn't my dog)I got up and left. The owner of the Boneyard came up to me inside as we were sitting in shock inside and said sorry, nothing I can do about it. Do you want a free burger! It was a very ugly incident with horrible things said bye the man that I will never forget and not ever coming back to Boneyard, We don't feel safe with our dog there anymore!

A fun place for meeting with friends. Had a lot of fun meeting different dogs. A very energetic, and slightly chaotic atmosphere, but if you love dogs and want to have a few drinks while hanging out with your dogs and/or other dogs, then this is your place. They had a thai food truck, and I couldn't tell if they had any food options at the bar. There was a great alcoholic beverage selection, with a lot of different kinds of beer, cocktails, and other drinks. I ordered a caramel apple cider. It was very sweet. Overall, I got to meet and pet dogs, drink, and chow on some food truck asian food, what's not to like?

We were visiting Madison for the weekend and Boneyard was a great place to bring the pupper to run around for the day. They have a good beer selection, the large off leash section was great and the staff was super friendly.

What a great option for dog owners. Our two dogs had a blast and it was fun talking to other owners, meeting all sorts of other dogs while I enjoyed a beer.Reasonable price as well made this a no brainer to come back soon. Please go try it.
