Attended the Pat McCurdy show and granted there was a full house but it wasn’t like wall to wall packed, standing room only Tables and bar were full. They don’t do table service so had to order drinks at the bar, no biggie!! However with only 2 bartenders trying to get their attention was impossible for me, but for some reason not for others. Waited 20 minutes to get served. I don’t think I’ve ever waited that long for service even at Summerfest or Miller Park for a Kenny Chesney concert or any other event. I would go back for another show, but not if the bartender service is this bad.

It was a bit chilly, but it was great to be outside by the tiki hut with a tropical drink in hand and to listen to live music by the waterfront.

We visit often during summer, love the view, and friendly Tiki Bar staff

The tiki bar couldn’t make Mai Tai’s (the quintessential tiki bar drink), and when I ordered a margarita off the menu, the bartender handed me a bottle of table salt. I said sorry what’s this for. I wanted a salt rim. She said oh I thought you wanted to lick it off your hand. What? The bartender did not seem to know how to make any off menu cocktails so I don’t think she’s a certified bartender. I have been looking forward to coming here for two years. I expected it to have a supper club and come as you are feel but this place is kind of a dump.

The outdoors area is great. The cocktails not so much.

This place is unique in Madison. It feels homey and familiar, like you're back home in your small town and all of these people know your parents or your siblings or went to school with your cousin. Get a coconut rum cocktail in a plastic cup and sit on the grass on the lakeshore watching the sunset create a silhouette of the capital dome. It's heaven. No photo can do it justice, but here's mine anyway.

Love the location on Lake Monona. The young men at the bar provided good and friendly service with a smile! The Migrants' food is good. Both the bar and food stand need more help to eliminate the long lines on a busy night. If you want to drink and/or eat and do not enjoy spending time standing in line, go on less busy night, when the performers are not as popular. Speaking of performers, last night, they had the always great VO-5. Unfortunately, without an elevated stage, you could barely see them, if at all. And, unlike other venues where I have seen them, a lot of rude people around me were talking. VO-5 are best at a venue with an elevated stage and a crowd that is there to listen and dance, not talk.Unfortunately, the ESC website mentions nothing about cover or entrance fee. escmadison.com/events

We were here for a private catered event. Good drink choices, bar service was pretty good. Buffet food was good too. I also know they often have live entertainment and I recommend the establishment.

Great club right on the lake. Nice bar inside. And great music events on the lake.

Bands are good, but that's about it! Hope they figure things out since it's a beautiful location that many of us had frequented for years.

Sorry, I hate to give any restaurant a bad rating, but this was the worst fish fry I've ever had. When we received our food, it was warm at best from sitting under a heat lamp for a while, possibly? The fish was not crispy and was not made to order. My wife did say the French fries were good. The picture in a previous review is not close to what was served to us.

This place basically robbed me tonight and everyone else for that matter, It didnt seem like anyone noticed or cared. I ordered the 3 piece cod and they 100% took one filet and sliced it the long way into 3 it was basically fish fingers, a tiny condiment container of coleslaw and a small scoop of mashed potatoes. I scarfed down what little food we got and left very angry and hungry. 20 dollars per meal for a small taste.

They just started having fish fry from 5-8 pm. Had the bronzed salmon tonight, and it was delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Fried cod is great, too.
