This is such a chic place! Met a friend for lunch and had their chai and shakshuka... delicious!! As a vegetarian it was also wonderful to see the variety of veggie friendly options. And the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and all encompassing, to the point where it seems well suited for a meal with kids, work lunch, and a cozy date night all at once. Will definitely be back for more!

Amazing treat in a warm and welcoming space. Excellent food and coffee that's perfect for foodies. Great staff too.

Great food, great place, but unusually high gratuity for a place where you order at counter, get your own water and own sugars and glasses and utensils. I work in the food industry and no how hard the job is. However they are only bringing the food to table with no other contact during meal. Even pay at counter.

First time dining experience at The Heights and LOVED it. Such a cute quaint spot for brunch and dine with lovely decor and vibe. They have a great menu selection and there is something for everyone. Lots of vegan options. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We had the cucumber sesame bagel, Supra egg sandwich, avocado toast, ShakShuka, and killer kale salad. Each of the dishes were fantastic and so fresh. I cannot rave enough about the cucumber sesame bagel, avocado toast and the kale salad. These are a must must try. The salad was incredible. The sesame bagel had the right seasoning and was so light and flavorful. Avocado toast was also so tasty. I cannot wait to go back and try other things on their menu. The service is a 10/10. We ordered at the front and then seated ourselves. The food arrived promptly and the server was really sweet and helpful.Overall a great experience! Don’t snooze on the heights, check it out today for a delightful, warm, and friendly experience. Highly Recommend!

The required 20% gratuity sign that greeted us immediately at the front door was off-putting — especially as we soon learned that there is limited table service at The Heights. Diners go to the counter to order. The atmosphere is bright & fresh; the food & drink were very tasty. We ordered:one Bloody Mary, one Virgin Mary, one tea;one kale salad + side of bacon;one breakfast sandwich + side salad. Waited a l o n g time to receive much-needed additional dressing for the kale salad. $85 ?

Probably one of the nicest bars/interiors I have seen in the Madison area, the detail and craftsmanship are exceptional, makes for an excellent dining experience.

I tried this place for the first time for brunch; I loved it so much, I returned for dinner later that day! Both meals were fantastic. For brunch, the blueberry-habanero sauce on the Barato Egg Sandwich was the perfect "sweet heat". For dinner, it's hard to go wrong with one of the Mac & Cheese dishes. Prices are very reasonable, and there's a good selection of beer and wine. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Nestled back in the University Heights neighborhood, this place has lots of charm. The atmosphere was romantic enough for a quality date night, and the food was both creative and expertly prepared. I had the mushroom risotto and roasted eggplant starter, both of which were worth the price.

Lovely brunch. The squash sandwich is incredibly flavourful. Order the breakfast potatoes over the chips. The vibe is also chic & calm. Snag a bottle of wine on your way out ♥️

It is nice that they use locally sourced ingredients, however, a bun was substituted for ciabatta, and I was looking for a nice crunchy bread. My sandwich was mostly arugula. For what we got, we thought it was rather pricey.

Wow! Carry out is not normally the best showcase of a restaurant, but our carry out dinner tonight was impressive. Thank you for a safe, pleasant, delicious, and less-expensive-than-expected meal. I'll definitely be back!
